Until one day Vårlyng decided to find the creatures on their own, to find out what they were. They left their platter and went on a journey, asking other plate dragons they met if they had seen any creatures. While many did say they had heard similar tales, only a few said they had actually seen these creatures. Using the information of those who had seen them, they searched even more. Finally they spotted something, something strange.. and pd-like! Vårlyng crept up towards it, staring intensely at its strange.. features? It definetly seemed like a plate dragon when looking closer, but it had so many qualities that made it seem.. also not. The creature seemed to be asleep, so Vårlyng.. in an implusive pounce, jumpscared it awake. Just as they were about to say a million things to it, it dissapeared right infront of them. No pops. No sounds of it quickly running off. Just suddenly... no creature. Vårlyng sat down, confused and disappointed. They didnt get to know anything about the creature.. but at least they know a piece of the mystery, how one of it looks!

prompt: The ocean. Nyx hasn't told anyone, no. Of the story of the creature he witnessed on a full moon. He had been thoughtful- thinking deeply about certain situations of the past and present. He had sat by the oceans shore that night, looking at his reflection, he had suddenly seen a abnormal creature as if a serpent, sharp and ridged with scales along it, almost like a sea dragon. The ground rumbled beneath him, and before he could even consider what had happened, it was gone. He remembered running, straight back home to the comforting blankets of his sleeping quarters.
