name: Gentileschi.
prompt: 450 words. Apologies if it appears unfinished; I'm a tad busy, and decided to submit this to fixate on what is making me busy.
As sporadic or overwhelming as it may appear to others, Gentileschi believes that her art studio is the most comforting place in the world - for it is the sole place in which she can turn her sorrow into something beautiful, and furthermore a place to drown the endless spew of thoughts that plague her mind:
Natural illumination born upon the horizon languidly trickled through the darkened fabric donning the various windows etched into the south wall of the room and dutifully stroke the firm permanence of the fore walls, bearing six columns of ten metallic buckets marked in their corresponding paint colors atop darkened oakwood shelves settled against the wall whilst numerous completed paintings were prided in a mosiac-esk arrangement of canvases hung around the shelves, in strewn tendrils of muted off-white - neglecting the opposing west and east walls adorned in haphazardly enacted sketches with a desk beside and a comfortable blanket overlain a weathered couch from her youth respectively, in addition to the barren threshold of the north wall. The three major walls - namely south, west, and east - are painted in an older design Gentileschi fashioned when she first purchased the room, a design of which has hence been concealed by the adornments of the room. Nevertheless, she claims that one the plans she has been harboring for quire some time is to redo one of the walls suceeding a year, and the other the year thereafter; so that the walls can serve testimony to her gradual growth as a painter, one that is beyond the first time she met the room. She has yet to follow through with this notion.
The heady and pungent aroma of interwoven dried and drying paint saturated the room in waves often stifled beneath the faint floral abundance of the many candles sown about in an endeavor to lighten the scent and the fresh spurs of air filtering through scarcely opened windows, the taste of the air in open-mouthed breath reflecting such and thus being something Gentileschi has adapted to amidst the years in which she has maintained the studio. The air in question is, additionally, frequently stirred by either that of Gentileschi's form or the diverse vibrations of music or news reports given voice by a radio of medium size perched in the east corner of the room. While she claims to not care for the arrangement of songs that meet the radio channel she doesn't bother to change, she will not hesitate to turn it off at the very utterance of a country accent echos through the room. She feels it's counteractive to listen to something that angers her in a place she designed for the sake of comfort and relaxation.

Thank you. It was my first attempt at experimenting with my typical writing style, and I'm glad the experiment wasn't a failed one. In addition, it's an honor to obtain my first Kalon from you, deerbroken.
