New Years Tradition:
This guy's new year's eve tradition is to make a list of everything he'd like to leave behind in the previous year, that he doesn't want to take with him into the New Year. This could be physical things or metaphorical things, they're somewhat like resolutions but in a way that he's not trying to start or quit a new habit, he's simply trying to leave behind things that he doesn't think will serve him in the new year.

New Years Tradition: Zippy loves to start his new year, by challenging one of his friends that he's hanging out with. He will challenge this friend a race into the new year. They start at 23:58/11:58 PM, at least 1 or 2 minutes into the new year! His favorite year was running under the booming fire in the sky. He's always been fascinated with the looks of fireworks, as he feels like they resemble the markings on his coat.

New Years Tradition: his new year’s tradition is one that sometimes takes time: the first flower he sees, he collects and keeps til it withers! He uses this only in small part for aesthetics to start the year off looking and smelling nice but even more so to be mindful of metaphorical values that matter to him: the significance of finding the flower, what the type and timing can tell him to be aware of about his condition this year, and the virtue in not mourning it upon withering but embracing that stage of the life cycle and the memory imprinted from it as he continues in as well.

New Years Tradition: "Sparky" has discovered how to make fire (insert elmo fire gif here).
Each year, he tracks down the special rocks and materials he's learned make sparks when they clatter together, and he does his best to create as much chaos as possible down the rocky cliffsides.

New Years Tradition: is it really a tradition? Sinnera has to have every mirror covered from 11:59 - 12:01. No one is really sure why. He doesn’t really talk about it, but we’re pretty sure it’s got something to do with the weird noises we keep hearing around the barn at night, and the candles that keep disappearing every year on new years.

New Years Tradition: Crackle started doing this long ago... every year he heads outside at about 11 o'clock and begins searching the ground for the perfect pinecone. Upon finding one, he places small pieces of paper into the scales, paper that he has written his wishes for the next year on. When the time hits exactly midnight, he sets it alight, letting the flames turn his wishes into ashes that float off into the sky, freeing them so that they may come true.

New Years Tradition: He always watches a Three Stooges marathon with his friends on New Year's Eve. They toast with fancy, decked-out milkshakes at midnight. It's an unofficial rule that you aren't allowed to wipe off any milk mustache that may occur.

New Years Tradition: yuri’s tradition is drinking sparkling water! every year his family gets together to celebrate the new years. they always have fancy buckets with sparkling juice, and it is one of his highlights! that along with getting to stay up late.
(this is based off me with my family. we would always have the sparkling juice in the glass bottle, with fancy little glasses. it is a tradition i have brought into my family and enjoy very much. sometimes its just the littlest things with tons of meaning!)
Congratulations! I think this is such a sweet little idea!
