Favourite Snowy Activity: Snow Belle once had found a large hallow log that was split in half when going through the mountain forest. She had enjoyed watching people snowboard and ski. She wondered to herself how dangerous it would be but also once in a life time for a creature like her. She nudged and dragged it to a smooth slope that she once seen someone ride down. She stepped onto the empty half log, and sat down to ensure better chances of balance. She then leaned forward like she had seen the humans do... and down the slope she went. The ride was wild, luckily no trees until nearly the bottom, then she out of reflex hopped out of the log when realized she couldn't turn on time from crashing and got buried in light fluffy snow. The log split in half and she snorted happily as she at least got to experience it and now she craves to try it more and improve each time.

Favourite Snowy Activity: This girl’s favorite activity is, finding the largest snow piles to dig out and make into little stable igloos. It’s cozy, warm and private. The best place to get out of the cold and to be left alone if you want to read. Or quietly enjoy a nice apple a day! For energy to build more snow structures.

Favourite Snowy Activity: Her favorite activity is making snow art using dye or food coloring mixed with water. She will use spray bottles filled with a rainbow of colors and create swirling and mystical art pieces on the snow. She always ends up looking just like her art in the end, painting a variety of colors.

Favourite Snowy Activity: She loves to find a big snow drift, hider herself in it as best she can, and then pop out to surprise other herd members as they pass by. Most of the adults are long used to her antics by now, but the foals also jump up like popcorn popping and it makes her giggle.

Favourite Snowy Activity: It may seem highly strange and unconventional, but this lady loves mazes made out of snow! The logistics of making a maze of snow with walls tall enough for her are a nightmare, but she doesn't mind if the walls aren't tall! Even if she can see over (or even step over) the walls, she will still navigate the maze like one is supposed to. She will even attempt going through mazes that are much too small for her and sometimes ends up getting stuck and needing help to get out. And not stuck as in she can't find the way out...stuck as in, she gets trapped in the turns and can't get around without accidentally breaking the walls, something she never wants to do!

Favourite Snowy Activity: It might be a tad bit unconventional for an equine, all things considered, but Aspen loves ice hockey! While the skating part is a tad tricky [and in her opinion, overrated] the rest is super fun! Using a tree branch as a hockey stick and slapping the puck [pinecone] into her makeshift nets. If only she could find some friends to set up teams, they could truly make the most out of their winter season.

Favourite Snowy Activity: She makes a game out of trying to find mice and rabbits and other small animals under the snow. She saw a fox do it once and now she loves to rear up and dive into the snow and try to chase the critters around. It's incredibly amusing to watch a horse do this. (source)

Favourite Snowy Activity: This mare's favorite snowy weather activity isn't exactly an activity at all but rather a snack. Making the snack is the activity. When the weather gets cold enough and the snow sticks to the ground, she finds the allure of a sweet treat to be too tempting to resist. Using her teeth she pulls the bark off maple trees until sticky sweet sap coats her velvety muzzle. Using a leaf like we might use a spoon, she collects the nectar before setting it on the snowy ground to harden. The result is a sweet, cold lolly that she looks forward to every single year.

Favourite Snowy Activity: she's a bit of a daredevil! loving the rush of risk, she and her friends play a game they call "icy dash", where they stand under melting icicles for as long as they can. the last one under an icicle without getting hit or chickening out wins the game! she's had a few bonks to the head, but she always laughs it off and asks for another go.
