fable name: pigeon
answer:

'this is what peace feels like..' the faint memory of her mother coddling her close just moments after being brought into the typically chaotic world that now surrounded the pair. however that moment felt like a thousand moments soaking in eachother an overwhelming peace shared between the newborn and mother. her red orbs blinked as she looked out, pass the swans.

fable name: Nisk
answer:

She was looking at the body of water, the faint winter sunshine making her golden tattoos shine. It was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen, but now Nisk would have to let her go.
He approached Iacuna, trying to make as little noise as possible. A tear fell into the water, creating slight ripples. It was as if cracks had opened in his heart, the words in his throat froze and turned into a dull mumble. He sat down beside her, unable to look directly at her. Their gazes met in their reflections on the body of water.
“Don't go” Iacuna said.
“I have to” replied Nisk, breaking the icy knot in his throat.
They stood still for hours, unable to speak, until the sun went down and the temperature dropped too much to continue standing outside. Only then did Iacuna get up and begin to walk away.
“I will never forget you, Nisk, I will love you forever” she said, pausing for a moment. Then, she continued walking, never looking back.

Nisk came back to reality, tears were streaming down his cheeks. By the pond, there was no one there, only placid swans. Yet even though he knew she was far away, it was as if she was there, sitting by the water, the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.

thanks everyone for your stories, i enjoyed reading them as always!
i will award this fable to Ada20089,
i think you did a good job capturing the nostalgia of looking back on a fleeting but magical childhood memory, and i liked the detail of the snow causing the spots on her coat too.
