Astrid would live on Planet M96. After the discovery of a new star system, there were so many planets that they were quickly given ID numbers to easily communicate with the scientists who were dispatched to explore each planet. Astrid just likes to call it home. Its inhabitants are relatively friendly, overwhelmingly noisy during sunrise and sunset. The atmosphere composition is a bit different, so the sky appears purple. Many of the plants are bioluminescent, and Astrid loves to take nighttime strolls. Planet M96’s moon is very close, with the resulting tides being so strong, everyone lives on boats.

the first half of the scientific name of moon jellyfish, aurelia aurita. i was inspired by the purple "jellyfish" star spotted by hubble, otherwise known as NGC 2022. it is actually an old dying giant red star similar to the size of the sun and emitting layers of gas as it grows older. despite not being a planet, this phenomenon is referred to as "planetary nebula". i thought the name after the moon jellyfish was a fun tie-in into the "jellyfish" star, as well as being tied to space again with being called "moon" jellyfish! the star is also purple, and so are moon jellyfish :)

Euoraphine, a galaxy located deep within the belt of time. Many had once thought that this pile of stars was uninhabited until Cygnus appeared with the kisses from a supernova. Her planet, Orax, which was once full of life and beauty has been sucked dry out of greed. The beautiful meadows now decimated and desperate for anything turned into monstrous plants that fed off of anything. Cygnus decided it was time to leave her once beautiful lands and find one more docile and habitable.

this gave me a mix of the 100 and throne of glass vibes. I think this could def be a super neat storyline! <3 would love to hear more about her adventures and what she finds.
