Name Meaning: Named after my favorite contemporary classical piece, and the composer, John Mackey. The piece features an oboe solo/soli, which is my primary instrument, and we played it at my final performance with my ensemble back in May. The song holds a lot of memories to me, such as falling back in love with music and the oboe after a long desperation with my own musicianship, and this collie perfectly represents the image I imagine whenever the song plays.
