-But also a whole lots of colors aurora themed one
-Bioluminescent nature themed
-Various Percy Jackson characters themed (not just Percy or Annabeth, perhaps one like Nico, Leo, Frank, Hazel or Piper)
-Decades themed (20's, 50's, 70's, 80's, 90's, etc. )
-Art Deco themed
-Art Nouveau themed
-Themed after other creatures like an owl, some of the beautiful purple or blue butterfly species, the hummingbird bobtail squid, bumblebee, etc. )
-Themed around not as talked about plants like snowdrops, silver mound, lamb's ear, mimosa pudica, silk tree, drosera (sundews), lotus, etc.
-Or more common plant themes like wild strawberries, orchids, green house plants, various flowers, etc.
-And again, because 'characters' was mentioned, perhaps themed on the ninja turtles or their allies
-Maybe designs based on different cultures around the world
-Various coffee and tea types
-Themed off of different real galaxies and space phenomina
-Themed off of basic Star Trek characters (like the colors of the different sections of the ship; red, blue and yellow)
-Themed off of different DnD types (bard, fighter, paladin, cleric, etc.)
-Themed off of ancient Asian designs
-Themed off of a Japanese garden
-Basic gradation and ombre-ing of colors (not necessarily in a straight line, perhaps along a curve?)

-An art loving theme (in whatever form that comes in; paint, grafitti, crafts, crochet/knitting, clay, etc.)
-A book-loving, librarian type theme (perhaps loves the adventures found in books and stories)

but fr tho, we need more clothing aethetics worked into the kalon species imo-
cottagecore, craftcore, techcore, etc. When I think 'design' I think not the fur of a kalon but what they have added onto themselves. Not only do 'cores' hold a palette, they can be worked into a shine and a style for the kalon to wear.

• sometimes for color inspiration I take photos of the sky throughout the day and color pick from the colors in the clouds! you can get some really beautiful colors, especially if you get good pics during sunset!
