Prompt: Sara has no idea what she has gotten herself into. They always try to help where they can, but maybe agreeing to help with experiments that they are not even sure what they are was a mistake. Besides, despite her best efforts to learn during class, chemistry is really not her thing. At all. Nonetheless, they know enough about the basics that they think they can probably at least stop the two from doing anything dangerous, so they are willing to stick around and assist Voices and Roswell. When Roswell asks what she has learned in class so far, Sara replies, "Well, mostly just the basics... Uh, I know the periodic table of elements pretty well! Mostly because of puns." Sara heads over to a cabinet and puts on some gloves and safety goggles, just in case. After all, they have never used some of these chemicals before, and have no idea what might happen if they are combined.

He figured it would probably be best for him to help them out so they didn't do too much damage. Or at least, not any more than they'd already seemed to have done. The rainbow Chicoon thought about what he'd learned so far in his Chemistry class. Honestly, it had all seemed rather complex. But he'd understood a few of the easier things.

"I've been learning about the periodic table," Max told his new friends. "And there are safety precautions that are always good to know." He gestured at the lab coats hanging on hooks by the door. "Like, wearing lab coats and safety goggles is always a good idea. Why don't we put some on before we go further?" He looked at Roswell. "You should wear goggles too, Roswell. Even if you can't see, you still need to protect stuff from getting in your eyes." [170 words]

Prompt: Shrimp slips on a glass test tube that was rolling on the floor and her face smacks right into the window where Ducky was looking in from outside. After she picks herself up Shrimp presses her own face into the glass, both stare for a moment before Shrimp turns back toward the rest of the lab, taking in what she imagines Ducky is looking at. It's a fire. The chemistry lab is on fire. Thankfully Voices has it contained in a metal trash bin for the moment. Both Shrimp and Ducky watch as the bin is hastily brought over to the emergency shower where Roswell finds the dangling lever and pulls, spraying water all over and putting out the flames. After the initial shock, the two seem actually proud of themselves and whatever the result of that "experiment" was.

Prompt: Fae took a moment to gather her thoughts, very much overwhelmed by the sudden turn of events. “Uhh… errm my focus is music but I’ll do my best to help. So far I’ve learned basic lab techniques and safety, plus some stuff about heating substances, mixing different chemicals, and testing conductivity. Fae did relatively well in chemistry even if it wasn’t her focus, and she knew the importance of organization and safety in the lab environment. The disorganization and lack of safety in the lab right now made her nervous for sure.
