Which Normal Teacup: Demon Baby
Name: Enfys
Age: Teenager
Gender: Agender (they/them)
Personality: Curious - Nervous - Quiet - Family Oriented - Easily Distracted Enfys is an introverted and easily overwhelmed young sima. They loves learning new things but being around strangers or in new situation can very easily get to much for them. Enfys very rarely leaves home without another member of their family, no mater how much they love the local library. Everything is interesting and fun to them, even if only for a short time, as Enfys gets easily distracted by new and shiny things even if the thing they were already focused on was also new and shiny just a moment ago. The one thing that they will always love though is reading, be if fiction or interesting facts and science. Even if sometimes they do have way to many started and unfinished books laying around that they really should finish.
Enfys also loves their adopted family, they helped them out of a difficult situation and helped them become a slightly more functional person and to accept themselves even if they do not always fit in. Their company is the only thing Enfys truly needs in life to be happy, anything else they could live without but their family makes them whole.

The library was quiet and still around them, only the occasional sima could be heard further into the library from time to time and even then it was just the sound of footsteps. Enfys was thankful for it, it was one of the rare times they were alone here in their comfy little corner of the library. It was tucked away in a seldom visited section and as such they were very rarely ever disturbed. And even then most of the time if there was anyone else here it was often one of the librarians doing their job or asking if they were okay. Enfys had been coming here often enough now to at least be comfortable enough to answer that if asked, or to be able to ask for help in finding any interesting books. A few months ago they would have had an anxiety attack just thinking about talking to any of them. But time, repetition and their familyβs help had made it possible for a day like today to happen at all. For Enfys was completely alone right now, the library with its dim golden light and books their only company.
His brother Nakir had accompanied them on the way to the library but had stuff of his own to do for a couple hours. He had of course asked them if it was okay, Enfys would not have had to come to the library at all if they had not thought they would be able to take at least a while on their own. Plus if they did get overwhelmed or something happened they could just call Nakir or one of their parents and they would come immediately. It was a good feeling to know someone cared that much, to be loved in such a way that they would drop anything if something happened to you. Enfys had never had that before his family took them in. It had only been mutual trust and even then it had not been true trust. It had been the kind where both knew not to mess with the other or they would mess you up back. Or well, that was what was assumed, Enfys would have never dared to actually mess anyone up. It had not been a good time for them. Too much uncertainty and helplessness. At least there had been no strangers back then, that had not been a fun experience once they had been taken away from their old life. But they were healing, slowly but surely. One day maybe they would even be able to walk to the library completely on their own.
But for now Enfys would take it all one step at a time, today he just needed to survive the next couple hours and find something interesting to read. Anael had brought up primals and how few known clans there are at dinner yesterday, that sounded like a fun place to start. Time to look for the sima species section of the library, hmm where was that.
