Chai comes from a family of master baristas, all talented in their own craft and brews. As fawnlings, each one is meant to find the drink that 'speaks' to them and they undergo general training in order to hone their skills. When Chai was a fawnling, they discovered their drink pretty early on due to an impressive sense of smell and a knack for brewing. When the seasons start to get colder, this is the one drink they love to make and enjoy.

Delano wasn't a huge drinker of anything (besides water, naturally), despite the many options around him. While he doesn't dislike the taste of the cappuccinos and lattes, black teas and earl greys, juices, milk - nothing really captured his fancy enough for it to be anything more than a one-off drink, bought when catching up with a friend. They tasted pleasant, but it was easy to forget, and easy to confuse. What was the difference between green tea and black tea? The former just felt more minty in some way. Caps and flat whites? Just more or less milk. Perhaps he was less taste-sensitive, but he just wasn't the kind to go out of his way to make something special when he could just grab a bottle of water and go.

That was until he tried rooibos tea, what he thought to be another random purchase when getting a drink with friends, one that he will never remember and rarely try again. It was the strong aroma and the way it filled his nose the moment he was near, it was the unique taste that wasn't as easy to forget as the other drinks he's had. Sweet, but not sugarly. Herbal, but not really plant-tasting? Delano really was a bit taste-blind, it was hard to explain to himself why this drink caught his attention when none had. While he, admittedly, did forget about the flavour and the smell a few days later, the strange name of the tea lingered. And when he next tried it, the reason why he liked it came back immediately. The smell. The taste.

It wasn't long before he purchased some from the grocery store, leaving the box to sit near his water jug. Water was still his primary drink (maybe the reason why he doesn't drink anything else is because he couldn't even bother boiling water), but every now and then, when he wanted a treat - he'll turn the kettle on, and pour himself a nice glass of tea.

In the mysterious sunlight of the forest, Fawnae would blend in, their fur decorated with leaves and flowers. But this fella was somewhat different, special you might say. Even though the forest is their sanctuary, this one was curious and started seeking more adventure!

There was this alluring smell that lead the way towards a cabin. The cabin stood like a candle in the woods, its warm glow luring both Fawnae and curious forest animals alike. And there it was, a freshly brewed mocha with it's sweet smell, just by the window sitting on table. Curiosity got the best of her as she licked the drink...As she savored the delightful mocha, she realized that her pupils widened from excitement and so she slurped the whole thing in one go.

Little did she know that the caffeine inside would make her hyper, running around and therefore getting attention of the cabin owners. Luckily they thought it was adorable and so they accepted their fate of making mocha and leaving it outside everyday from now on...
