Callisto doesn't have any huge or profound reasons as to why she likes this song- she just enjoys the vibes of it, basically. It's the right blend of upbeat and weirdly evoking of nostalgia for her- and hyping her up, in a way, when she listens to it, enough to continue on with the day's work, even when it feels discouraging.

This song always hits hard for me, and I imagine it would for Vance as well. It's gotten us through tough times, and will always have a place in our hearts. It reminds us of what we have overcame, and where we once were, compared to where we are in present times <3

Enchanté by Dirt Poor Robins

When Annette first heard the song with the jaunty piano in an underground club she was transported to her youth. She spent a simple childhood in a small house where the next neighbor was only a corn field away. The birds sang summertime hymns and the trees danced with them in time. That disappeared in a blink of an eye when bounty hunters suddenly stormed the town and eradicated all the enchantment. The birds were captured and confined to cages, trees unfortunate enough to be caught dancing were cut down for their wood, and the townsfolk were all interrogated into submission.

The crowd clapping in time to the beat and chanting the chorus brought her out of her memories. She looked around the crowd and saw everyone were creatures of myth that would have been captured by the bounty hunters, like her.

She felt herself being swept in the movement and hoping for the future.

favourite song and why: Trumpet Creeper - Ahn Ye Eun

For Hwa this song reminds him of the time he spends (literally) skulking about in the shadows, working for The Spectres. His shadow magic makes it easy for him to slip seamlessly along buildings and through alleyways, particularly at night, and he feels very much like a secret agent when he's able to traverse the city undetected. The song is mournful and slightly sinister-sounding, its lyrics referencing a love that has been abandoned and left to rot, which is something that Hwa can relate to deeply. His shadow magic has always been a source of both pride and pain, driving his family to push him away as they feared the negative implications of being associated with him. In the end, Hwa chose to cut ties with them and pursue his own path in life, though he does miss them deeply and wishes that he didn't have to chose between his own happiness and the love of his family; in many ways, that choice was taken from him and his own love was left to rot, much like that in the song that he resonates with so strongly.

after the breakup of her and her past lover she discovered this song. the feelings of jealousy didn't occur but she still held hard feelings about the relationship. she is torn between moving on and making it work. agnes feels connected to the song in many ways; she has green eyes, and it makes her feel that internal back and forth she is dealing with. she feels so unlucky for it to have turned out the way it did but she is strong. she knows she can bounce back from this but she knows her past relationship with the person will never be the same.

she's been out of a relationship for a while now, and it's weird. she finds herself missing parts of it at times, yet is coming to terms with someone she used to love dearly beginning to fade from her memory. it's a soft song, and it's been her mantra ever since she heard it. it's not quite therapy for tuesday, but the song is the next best thing as far as she's concerned!
