despite having no Norse blood, Bjornulf finds himself falling into the role of being the hunter of the back. every time he's let out he can't help himself from gazing into the woods that surround the kennels; his mind wanders, envisioning himself being a wolf prowling through trees, stalking his prey using every natural instinct programmed into his brain. the occasional waft of wild animal will catch his nose, drawing his attention away from anything and everything, his mind racing back to his fantasy of living in a den, deep within the woods. it's almost impossible to draw Bjornulf's attention away, which is why he's absolutely not allowed to be outside by himself.
nobody quite knows how he did it, but the Collie managed to wriggle out of his harness at some point. they found him looking rather lost in a forest clearing, shaking from head to toe, the white of his fur now stained deep brown from the mud. it's safe to say that the very short walk home had Bjornulf tucking his tail between his legs as he tried to ignore the mockery from his friends and kennel mates.

YOOOOOO THIS SONG GIVES ME VIKING VIBES. I LOVE how eerie it sounds right at the beginning. Really gets my metal face going. I think I’m adding this to my Spotify playlist now 😅
