I have a lovely Shetland Sheepdog named Ace. He turns 11 this year. He’s my first dog and honestly he’s the complete opposite of how I pictured having a dog to be. I always thought they’d be super clingy and all in your bubble and would sleep with you. Yeahhhhhh, Ace is an old man stuck in a dog’s body. Doesn’t really like to cuddle or sleep in my bed for any longer than 10 minutes because it’s hot and he’s got his thicc double coat. He will talk back to you if you scold him. He knows when you’re talking about him and he’ll give you a certain look.
But overall, I would still die for him bc he’s got a sweet smile.

If I could choose to have any pet, I would love a ball python or tarantula. Exotic pets are illegal in my country because our country is small and the government is afraid that people may release/abandon them and it will mess up our local ecosystem which is a valid fear. It is unfortunate because the closest I’ve ever seen them are in zoos and you can’t even hold or touch one. I would love to carry and feel a snake or spider in my hands one day. I think they’re amazing creatures.
