Prompt: Max was just finishing up reading the letter when his rambunctious twins, Charlotte and Quinn, hurried up to him. They were both bouncing around, talking at the same time, asking if they could please, please, please join him outside. Lottie noticed her daddy was holding a piece of paper in his hands, and the little rainbow Chicoon's wings flapped.

"What's that, daddy?" she gasped.

"It's a letter from a friend, but they forgot to sign it!" Max replied to his daughter. "They want to meet with me tomorrow." The Chicoon rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I wonder who this could be from? The writing seems so familiar, but I can't place it..."

Quinn tugged on his father's leg. "Daddy! Daddy! What if it's your friend from the maze? What was his name?"

"Eyes!!!" Lottie shouted excitedly. "Yeah, daddy! Could it be from your friend, Eyes?"

Max put one paw on Lottie and the other paw, still holding the letter, on Quinn. "You two are very clever! I'm not sure if this letter is from my friend from the maze, but that is a very good guess!" He looked at the letter again. "I guess I'll find out tomorrow!"

"Can we go with you, daddy?" Lottie gave him her best puppy dog eyes. "Please?"

"Yes, please, please, please!" Quinn agreed.

"Sorry, my little ones, but this is a mystery that I'll be solving on my own," Max told them. "Why don't you go find your mother and see if she can help you find your coats and scarves? Then we can go out and build a snowman!"

The two kids screamed and ran off, each trying to outrun the other as they hunted for their mother. Max shook his head and carefully folded up the letter to leave on the table beside the front door. Were his twins right? Would he find Eyes waiting for him at the cafe? The last time Max had seen his friend, he had remained behind in the maze to help other Chicoons escape that crazy place. Well, like he'd told the kids, he would just have to find out tomorrow!

Borgata had just gotten finished with building his very first ever snowman when he went home to check on his Buck'a'lotl. However when he got there, it became apparent that there was an envelope wedged in his door! Curiously, he took it and opened it up to reveal a handwritten letter addressed to him.

Strangely, the writing seemed familiar although he couldn't remember who had such penmanship. He'd never gotten a letter before but he'd seen many a Chicoon write things in the dirt to explain them better, or draw something to illustrate a point. It must have been one of those Chicoons, he thinks. But whom?

The text said that it was from someone who really missed him, but had 'finally' found him, which meant that it couldn't be from Firefly or Demi or any of the other Chicoons at the settlement, for he'd been around them all quite some time now. Instead, it must be somebody who didn't basically live with him. Was it one of the Chicoons he'd met at the Fall Festival? Perhaps...

There was another clue as well, while most of the letter said "I" this and "I" that, at the very end it said "we are so excited to see you again", implying there were more than one of them, except it hadn't said we for most of the letter. Does that mean it was a Chicoon with a parasite? Basically one being but also a 'we' of sorts? That seemed possible.

The more he thought of it, the more he hoped that it was the beautiful Chicoon he'd glimpsed in the maze. The two of them had passed several times at a distance, and she'd had a parasite, just like he did: one on the tail. Not only that, but she was a rock-solid "10" where beauty is concerned. Her swirly pupils were captivating, and he sincerely hoped to glimpse himself reflected back in those eyes.

Maybe it wouldn't be his lady-love, but it could be, and that was enough to inspire him to dash inside, care for the Buck'a'lotl really quickly, and then freshen himself up so that he would be ready for the meeting tomorrow. They'd be going to Deja Brew, which he'd passed before but never been inside, that he could remember. Was it a bar? A coffee shop? Either way, he was totally excited for this meeting!

As someone who doesn't have a lot of friends, Anthracite was surprised to recieve a letter. He hasn't really gone out and socalize with others since getting mugged that one day...He looked at the letter and decided to re-read it, trying to pinpoint on whose handwriting it could be...It could be either Spirit's or Zero's, but...their dominant hands do have a mind of their own- so there was no way that neither one of them could have wrote this letters...besides, Zero wouldn't be that nice with the letter. And her handwriting was not very legible- it looked like a whole other encrypted message that would take decades to solve.

So who could it be?

Could it be the sibilings, Birch and Lapis...? It could be, but they could be busy with other things. And well, the letter wasn't stained with tears, so those two were out of the question. Maybe he wrote it himself? It could be a possibilty. Probably an Other Chicoon named Anthracite who crawled its way to the real world, placed the letter down on his table, and scuttled back home...He shivered at that thought. Maybe its time to get rid of that movie.

Although, that would have be at a later date, for now he must prepare for tomorrow.

Solaris definitely wasn't used to receiving any letters like this.
He had nearly thrown it away into the fire with the rest of the burnable junk that ended up near his home. His tail swayed back and forth idly, maneuvering the letter to look at it from all angles, trying to spot any clue that he might've missed. He scoffed and laid his head down, how careless of this mysterious character to forget an entire sign-off! It couldn't be someone he knew currently since Solaris only speaks to Nicholas and Stardust.
It couldn't have been that old geezer Nicholas, as he straps a vomit-inducing amount of decorations and colors on and inside every letter or package. It definitely wasn't Stardust either; they had already hung out last week and they would never ever forget to sign something.
Perhaps it was an old acquaintance he had just ended up forgetting.
With a sigh, Solaris stood and made his way toward his room.
At least he would get a good story out of this meeting.

Prompt: Let's make one thing clear. Yogi does not have friends. Well, he has one friend, and that is his little Whutta companion named Boo-Boo. But he only likes Boo-Boo because he doesn't talk much and leaves Yogi alone when he asks. With a hesitant sniff, Yogi picked up the letter and inspected it carefully, almost as if he expected a bomb to be tucked inside. After bravely opening the letter and reading its contents, Yogi thought it strange that someone was addressing him as if they knew him like a friend. He took a moment to think who it might be from, and his face immediately dropped. His heart started to pound quickly, and he nervously fidgeted in his place. I-is this who I think it might be?

Flipping the envelope over a few more times and checking the back of the letter itself, he gives a short snort in disappointment. A stern look up and down the side streets reveal no-body and he eases back inside with a soft click of the door closing. He can't recall anyone that would be so excited to meet with him. As he thinks over the others he's met through the week he sets the letter down on the side table and looks at the meeting place once more.

Making up his mind, he goes back to the door and heads out to get his day started. He'll go to the meeting if only to fill his curiosity in the very slim chance that someone wants to meet with him. As he mentally goes over scenarios in which a shy patron or tricky persona greet him, he locks his home and heads out. If a smile tugs at his lips over a potential new friend, he's none the wiser.

Prompt: GodFather inspects the note closely and curiously, it's been some time since he's had some friends over, or went somewhere to hang around anyone.. But the holidays are always about meeting up with friends and family, now GodFather has been around for some time it's a wonder who it could be. Though there's some hope to him that it could be Eyes, he hasn't seen him since October, and maybe Eyes was able to escape the maze himself once and for all? He doubts it, but it doesn't seem impossible knowing Eyes helped him to escape. Regardless, whoever it could be, is likely to bring a delightful conversation and company.
