Meet the Calathea roseopicta 'Rosy', also known as the Rose Painted Calathea! She has broad, glossy pink and deep green leaves - pink with a dark green edge, to be exact. Her pink patterning is delightfully striking and can even be a bit of an optical illusion (the pink area looks like a leaf within a leaf!). This lovely gal isn't for everyone, unfortunately, as she is very picky about the dampness of her soil and the humidity in the air around her. She also grows to be quite large!

I had never heard of the Lilly Pilly Berries, but found they are a small fruit found in Australia. :3 Apparently they can also be used to make smoothies, hence the name. (also found they have a range of colors from pink to red to yellow to blue-ish purple)
