prompt:
The sign is against children, the little ones that are always covered in some sort of yuck despite a parent or carer cleaning them with wet wipes or a napkin/handkerchief to be specific. Why is it always the small grubby ones that were desperate to touch her?! Allura hissed as she narrowly avoided yet another small child with sticky grimy fingers. What part about no touching did these stupid creatures not understand and why were the adults not doing anything to control their offspring?! It5 had been an absolute nightmare to get all the grime and grub out of her fur last time and she was not interested in doing it again! And yet still these children persisted with their nonsense!
It was enough to drive any sensible pokemon insane! Of course, she wasn't terribly interested in looking just so all the time but that did in no way mean she wanted to be dirtied by untrained younglings. An angry hiss escaped her and Allura batted at one of the particularly grabby ones with a paw. The child stumbled backwards and toppled over to land her rear, promptly starting to howl in an ineligible manner. The parent finally looked up from the conversation, a bespectacled woman striding over to the child and scooping her up.
Allura sniffed and used the opportunity to scramble up the nearest tree, disappointing the more pleasant children who were less grotty. She wished she had the vocals to explain to them that she was terribly sorry but the very young ones were too rough and just too dirty for her to put up with their attentions. The eldest children would be patient enough to wait for her to come back down while the small ones would get bored and give up.
It was hard sometimes, going out only to attract such a rush of attention. On days when the little ones are busy or just not there it is purely blissful.
