Misty watched as the magikarp flailed uselessly against her line. It was the same one, now having been caught thirty-six times, a magikarp with a scar across one eye and a missing fin. This time she stared at it and sighed. "You want to come with me that badly huh?" Shaking her head, she pulled out her dive ball, officially catching the magikarp. How did one even bond with a magikarp anyways?

She found the answer carrying around a backpack, which had an attachable fishbowl. The magikarp kept her great company, proved to be a good listener, and admittedly drew a lot of attention. Huh. Maybe this would work out after all.

phew, okay after much deliberation i've finally decided
