Sandbar is inquisitive by nature, and considers a day squandered if it is not spent on adventures. His thirst for exploration, however, is hampered by his aunt, Plover, who doubly serves as his guardian and his employer. Whenever he can catch a free moment, though, Sandbar will disappear into the coastal landscape, scaling cliffs, exploring caves, and otherwise sticking his nose in everywhere it will fit. The tooth he wears as a necklace was found as a souvenir on the beach, but he likes to say it's from a creature he fought. The story gets a bit wilder every time.

100 Words: The best term to describe Laniary is "Problematic Fave". Lani is very charming and friendly, but tends to get into trouble. Lani is not at all bad natured, but they have a reputation for pushing the limits a little too much, to the point where they put themselves in danger. For example, Lani might climb a tree higher than they should and go out on a slimmer branch than they should, in order to get a better look at their surroundings. Such a situation has obvious dangers, but Lani would likely do it anyway. Others look out for them, thankfully!
