xxxWhen she was a small kit, there was one thing that Thistlewing hated most: storms. The flashes of lightning piercing through the nursery den... silverpelt, itself, roaring in response... they were like fierce battles of Starclan, and it was enough to send a small kit like her running to her mother's arms. With each ashen cloud and each drop of rain, Thistlewing couldn't help but shiver at the thought of an impending storm. This all changed, of course, when she entered Westview Harbor.
xxxWith the help of an angry storm, the boat carrying the remnants of her previous clan was pushed into Westview Harbor's shore, thus sealing the fate of the cats forever. It was a new home for them- one that was riddled with torrential downpours and thunder like she'd never heard before. At first, it was terrifying. But just like Westview, itself, Thistlewing learned to appreciate what she once feared so deeply. It was the rain that kept Harbor Clan's river full, allowing them to feed their clan with fish. It was the lightning that would light the way as she learned the geography of her new home. And it was the thunder that lulled her to sleep each night- no longer a roar, but now more like a gentle purr.
xxxSo to honor her new home among Harbor Clan, Thistlewing would like to dress as a storm. With the help of some abandoned paint near town, Thistlewing's plan is to paint a stormy sky on her back, riddled with dark clouds and streaks of rain- just like what she saw on that first night in Westview. And to top it off? Flashes of lightning, each streak covering the scars she acquired from her old life in her old clan. The very thing she once feared now as ingrained in her as the scars from a time before Harbor Clan. She no longer cowers in the face of a storm- she is as powerful as the storm, itself.

[For some backstory, Harbor Clan is a newly-founded clan composed of natives to Westview Harbor and cats that were transferred to Westview after being stolen from their previous clan--Thistlewing is one of those cats]
