Prompt: While it would be unfair to call Firenza “crazy”, she is certainly eccentric. Despite having been proved wrong time and time again, she is sure, beyond any doubt, without reserve, that she is capable of flight. She had lept, often inexplicably, from every height she can climb to. She has suffered broken legs, broken feathers, but, for better or worse, never a broken wing. This has, somehow, only strengthened her belief. The rest of the coop has stopped trying to convince her otherwise, and they know it’s not just Firenza being stubborn. Her grand-rooster was full of tall tales of the feats he achieved in his youth, and chick Firenza ate them up and never questioned their feasibility. Fortunately, when she is not leaping from tall structures, Firenza is always eager to help others, collects extra seeds for the coop stash, and is ready to lend an ear if someone needs it. Just don’t ask her about flying. Trust me.
