Mamba raced through the rainforest, wind flying through his mane and his tail sailing out behind him. The rainforest, his home, with its gorgeous plants and humid air, was his favourite place to be.
His run was slightly lopsided, with one leg wounded, cut shorter than the rest. It was a reminder of how dangerous his home could be, on top of its beauty.
He tended the stump of his leg, cleaning it carefully. That carnivorous plant had gotten the better of him - he should've known better, by now, to watch his step. That dragontrap could've hurt him much worse.
