Often times, this thistlehoof calls Horseshoe Crabs 'honorary crabs' due to the fact that they're not actually crabs! They're more closely related to spiders, he likes to think of them as ancient crabs though- as the horseshoe crab is a species known to be around since 445 million years ago! He just thinks it's neat, plus they're super interesting to look at [way more interesting than "real" crabs ].
