She seems like a Broadway gal to me. :00 Most of these are from Broadway plays, some aren’t though.

You’ve Got A Friend In Me - Randy Newman Yeah, yeah, this isn’t Broadway and Lyric would hate to admit it but this is on her playlist. It’s kinda what she wishes she had? A friend that’ll support her. She doesn’t have that many friends. :>
Defying Gravity - Wicked did ya’ know that the main singer in this is the same person who voiced Elsa? This is one of Lyric’s favorite songs, it has been ever since she heard it. Just the meaning, and the song title, ‘defying gravity’ as that is technically impossible.
Satisfied - Hamilton Sorry if you don’t like Hamilton. :> Lyric has a taste for this song, it gets stuck in her head a lot, and she likes songs that have a story behind them, a reason why she likes Broadway songs.
Rain On My Parade - Barbra Streisand I suggest you don’t interrupt her when Lyric is singing, playing the piano, or listening to music. You’d be raining on her parade.
Astonishing - Ayla Schwartz Lyric is in awe that this little human kit can sing so confidently with an audience, when she can’t. It’s hard for her as explained in the little blurb.

Lyric padded into the house, wearing a warm smile as usual. Glancing to the familiar spot, she jumped up onto the piano stool. Thanks to the humans that lived here, Lyric was able to reach, and play, the piano. They didn’t mind her music or her melody. In fact, they seemed to enjoy it. Lyric put out her paws to the keyboard. She wasn’t a fan of crowds, so Lyric never really performed for others. The aspect of that terrified her. Being on a stage. Lyric let out a calm sigh, and then started to press down on the piano, the melody to one of her own songs forming. She didn’t notice a few young Kalons outside listening. And watching. Her first crowd.
Then Lyric turned her head. One of them had made a sound. They scrambled to get out of the way, but Lyric had already spotted them. The Kalon started to blush, and fumble with the keys. She could not remember the right ones that she was supposed to press. Lyric shook her head, clearly very embarrassed, and then ran away, looking as if she was about to cry.

She sighs, for the third time in as many minutes, trying and failing to fix her hair in the mirror. Another day, another night, the same shaking, wrenching nerves that plague her every time she's about to go out on stage and sing her heart out. She reaches trembling paw to her phone, quickly shuffling through playlists to find the one that gets her in the mindset to be able to perform well, or well... At all, really. The first song comes on, and then the next, and the next, and slowly, slowly, slowly, her nerves even out. She stops shaking, stops trembling, gets her breathing in order, does her vocal exercises and sings bits of the lyrics to her favorite songs. She starts to smile, looking back at herself in the mirror, remembering that her fans love her and she won't make a mistake that will ruin that tonight. She's herself, and she's good enough. The music flows through her and she shakes her hair out, deciding to forgo any particular style and go natural for once. She feels the rise and fall in each song, feels the lyrics, feels the beat, and she knows she's ready.

Sunset never comes quickly enough. Pushing open the heavy tavern door, you saunter to the bar and drop down, feet pulsing, back aching, as follows every day. Fields now blanketed in darkness, it'll be sunrise before you'll return to your work. For now, the hour of revelry feels a kiss of heaven.

Then a sound rather foreign catches your ear. A silky voice from crimson lips, you can hardly think as her smile catches you in those violet eyes. A mane of vibrant hair frames a delicate face, but you see in her jawline a wickedness too. As her eyes pass you over, the spell breaks long enough for your own to take in the rest of her - glittering armor shrouded in bold fabrics, a satchel, the hilt of a decadent sword, and a lyre slung across her back riddled with intricate carvings. No doubt she comes from money, and no doubt she doesn't notice you at all.

Her posture tells a story, a cool relaxation in boldly squared shoulders. Her height made up in the deadly heels of steel-trimmed boots. You watch her laugh, transfixed, and feel an ache as you wonder what it sounds like when she sings.
