The world was harsh, people were brutal. There was always one source of comfort for Annise, her blankie. She got it from a shelter she was staying in. Her family wasn't supportive of her, they called her by her dead name and misgendered her often. Hence the shelter, it was an LGBTQ+ shelter for others in situations similar to hers. It was a gift from the owner of the shelter. What a sweet old lady, she and her wife were truly wonderful people. The Blossoms ended up taking her in, she now lives with them and helps in the shelter. Even though she isn't a qualified therapist she loves to help the others in the shelter. Her mothers and the ones she helps encourage her to become an actual therapist. Though, she's never intended to. She wants to stay little forever with her favorite blanket, safe, dry, comfy, and warm.

becoming the goddess of dreams was a big honour. I mean, why wouldn't it be?
you're one of the highest ranking gods and goddesses there are. you can literally control what happens in mortal's dreams. you could even access another immortal's dreams... if you gathered enough power. you could manipulate what happens on earth, by changing people's expectations of the day ahead, with their dreams - or their nightmares.

but it wasn't a responsibility Raijin wanted, if she was being honest she would rather have stayed mortal. the only good thing about the position was the new friend that came with it. kaylee's aura is what made up this blanket, mingled with her own. together, the two use the blanket to spread love, acceptance and protection among the mortals. If they bestow a cloud from the blanket to a sleeping mortal, it will slip inside their own aura and provide a layer of protection against hatred and evil spirits.

Ife did not go seeking this job but cast into the role of a cupid, he found he enjoyed it immensely. In honor of his couplings, he decided to create a knit throw in remembrance. Each thread representing an individual, woven together intricately with that of their soulmate. If a couple fell out of love, the blanket would develop a tear. If the couple reunited, overcoming their differences, the blanket would mend the bridge. If the lovers ended up following their hearts elsewhere the threads would then entangle with new threads. Leaving a hole in the blanket where the love was lost. Ife did not mean to create such a powerful blanket, but love is strong, and you can feel the love emanate from the strands of Ife's throw. It's rumored once the blanket grows large enough to encircle the world, that all will know only love and peace.

It wasn't perfect, for sure, May was sure she had measured something incorrectly, half of the bear's face was smaller. And it definitely wasn't centered.
May had grown to love her blanket over the years. At first, she had been disappointed when her ma hadn't gotten her a
care bear blanket, and remembered pouting under the fuzzy fabric all day, wishing it had a bear on any where.
But it didn't last for too long, as May decided to take matters on her own hands. If the blanket didn't come with a bear, she just had to make it have one.
And so, with some thread, fabric, scissors and a needle, she managed to make her dream come true.
Her ma loved it as well, she kept smiling when she saw it, though May still remembered the lecture afterwards about using scissors and needles alone.
