fact: dogs are as smart in two-year olds in language skills but are smarter in other aspects.
        □ dogs are as smart as two-year olds.
        □ recent studies have shown that an average dog can learn 165 words, like a two-year old, including signals and gestures.
        □ a dog that is in the top twenty percentile can only learn 250 words.
        □ dogs rank with two-year olds in language skills, but beat them in arithmetic and socializing.
        ■ the smartest dogs are border collies, poodles, german shepherds, golden retrievers, dobermans, shetland sheepdogs, and labradors.
        □ dogs can count to around four or five.
        □ like toddlers, dogs can show basic emotions.
➤ while many dogs can only pass toddlers in basic socializing and arithmetics on a smaller level, the higher iq dogs may be smarter but they can get away with things easier than a dumber dog.

i included both a dog brain and a human brain concepts to show how each is different and how it works in terms of learning and comprehending.

fact:
Pluto hasn’t made a full orbit around the sun since it was discovered in 1930

Pluto was discovered on February 18, 1930. It hasn’t made a full orbit of the sun since that time because of its incredibly slow orbit. In fact, it takes Pluto 248.09 years to make one orbit around the sun. Which means that Pluto will make its first full orbit since 1930 on March 23, 2178

fact: chevrotain are a small deer-like species. They were said to be extinct since 1990, but in late 2019, they were found in Vietnam! In 1990, there was only 5 reported alive! They were declared extinct the same year, but, 29 years later, they were rediscovered! (I know this isn't the MOST interesting but,, they're adorable!!)

And the image that changed it all! The first sighting of the Chevrotain in almost 30 years! from here !

fact: Most people know that naked mole rats can't get cancer, but do you know why? It's because of a substance in their cells called "hyaluronan." Studies show that the larger the amount of hyaluronan in your cells, the more they are separated. The more these cells are separated, the better it is for the animal in cancerous conditions.
Image

This is because the separation of cells makes it so that cells with the mutation to multiply still have the space in the animal's body. Hyaluronan still resides in other animals--so to help separate cells and make them able to move accordingly--but it is the most excessive in naked mole rats, which theoretically need the separation between cells to make their bodies more flexible as they dig through soil.
