Name: Harlow
Gender: female
Collar: your choice!
Competition: Hold on to Me- Valerie Broussard
This song is definitely Harlow's theme- or so the other cows at the barn tell her. Though she wasn't initially too sure what they meant by this whole 'theme song' thing, upon hearing it, even Harlow admitted that the song seemed to fit her. She is a steady, supportive heifer who strives to be a shoulder to lean on for those around her.

Harlow knows that life isn't easy for many, and is the type of friend that tries to come alongside her loved ones and help them through their struggles however she can- whether that take the form of quiet words of optimism, being a shoulder to cry on, or even simply being a silent listener. She has served as an 'anchor' for many throughout her life, and though she's not highly demonstrative of her emotions in typical ways, those close to her know that this quiet encouragement of hers is a deep expression of care.

Competition: Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole - She loves this song for many reasons. 1- every time she sees rainbows, this is the song that pops in her head. 2. She loves Ukulele and finds the strumming of it in the song peaceful. She enjoys the way the song makes her feel; in love with everything.

Her favorite song because it has a good beat that she is capable of dancing to. She can beat her hooves to the rythm.

Collar: Eye Color
Competition: Blame by Air Traffic Controller

Anam feels this is her theme song mostly because she can just, relate. It talks about how you can never give up even when things are out of your control. How you did the best you could with what you had. Plus more! She listens to it often and knows all the words. And, when things get tough she always silently sings it to herself to make her feel better. It puts her more in control and clears her head. It’s just a life motto she’s always had. Ever since she first heard the words, from her favorite theme song.

Name: Gypsy
Gender: heifer
Collar: inspiration
Competition: No Roots - Alice Merton

Gypsy is a traveler and doesn’t let anybody stop her from doing what she loves. As a young calf, she was constantly moving around with a circus, seeing the best and worst of every unique town they stopped in. When she left, all she knew was travel, so that’s what she did. While some may call one place home, she is proud to call the whole world her home. Gypsy loves to be surrounded by the culture of different places each with their own traditions and ways of life. Sometimes she does get a bit lonely, but the never slowing movement of everything around reminds her to not dwell and live every moment in the present.

    Prompt:
    Hello My Old Heart
Her whole life has been about building walls around her heart. She's terrified of making connections, terrified of opening up, terrified that giving her heart to someone will end with it being crushed. The song speaks to that fear and of the building of the wall she built around herself. Hello, my old heart, it's been so long since I've given you away and every day, I add another stone to the walls I built around you to keep you safe. It's her in a nutshell. But, like the song continues, 'But you'll never find the answers until you set your old heart free' she wants to move past that. Ophelia is healing - or, well, she's trying to. It's not easy. But, hopefully, one day, she'll work up the courage to give her heart away.

Congrats!! This was a tough competition but I hope you guys had fun and/or found some new music!
