Competition: The moment Lunaire laid her placid pale blue eyes onto Mr Casanova, she knew their relationship together was going to be plain trouble. She usually isn’t the type to become attached to anything or anyone and her emotions are next to none, but for some reason Mr Casanova really made her heart beat a million miles an hour at every glance. She could see in his eyes that he wasn’t the type to settle down with any one mare, and it was evident he liked to play the pool, as he trotted past each stall with his eyes glistening towards every mare he traveled by. He was truly captivating and Lunaire knew it wasn’t going to be an easy ride with him, her attraction to him seemed almost... forbidden?

She usually is not impressed by stallions who pass by the yard but he was something else, he was almost angelic and neither she or her stable mates could get over how addicting his presence was at the yard. His manner was something to behold and it was clear how respectful he was with all the mates he had shown an interest in, Lunaire only hopes he chooses her when it comes to showing true passion but she almost knows it can only just be a fantasy and Mr Casanova will never have his eyes for only one despite his gentleman nature, but that’s just the way it always is with these flashy studs isn’t it?

It sure does take someone special to get Cookie to notice you. She's vain and only ever thinks about herself. If she did happen to notice you, it would be because you were making her jealous, like if a person was giving another horse more attention than Cookie was receiving. Cookie would snort at you and tell you to stop sucking up all the spotlight, to share more with the other horses.

But this didn't happen with Casanova. She was looking around at all the other horses that happened to be at the festival when she spotted him. His presence seemed to tell others to look at himself. It was the way he acted around the other horses. Almost like how Cookie acted around her fellow horses. Cookie liked him immediately.

Before she even knew it, he had disappeared from her sight. Cookie walked around a bit, and after a few minutes, she didn't see a trace a the stallion again. Still, Cookie hoped she would at least get to see him one more time. [175 words]

Fae wasn't usually easily impressed by stallions. For the most part they all seemed to pushy and high strung for her, some of them downright irritating.
It would take a lot to impress her and she did her best not to judge by outward appearances.
But admittedly when she first saw Casanova she was a little star struck. He was handsome alright. Flashy and confident. He had a certain charming way about him that she wasn't sure she liked, but he was certainly hard to ignore.

When he met her gaze for the first time she found herself unable to look away. He flashed her what she guessed was supposed to be a charming look and that broke the spell. She was not about to be sucked in by some overly handsome stallion who clearly had a big opinion of himself. No, she'd play it cool. Really cool. But as much as she tried to convince herself, she felt a prick of doubt.
He might not be as easy to ignore as she might hope.

Palm was an energetic and lively mare, and wasn’t afraid to show off her natural athleticism. So of course, it was only natural for her to start tearing around her paddocks like a mad woman when the latest stallion shipped in.

She was loud and made a fuss for all to hear, trying to draw attention to herself. The paint mare would take off, flying at top speeds, back and forth, back and forth, looking over at him after each couple of laps. She did this every time a new boy was brought in, because she always wanted the attention (as if her ego wasn’t already big enough).

Palmetto reared and spun and kicked, really anything she could do to show her power and majesty. Was it even working? Or did she just look insane? The other mares housed with her would believe the latter. But Palm still persisted, checking over her shoulder to see if her feats of strength were having any effect whatsoever on impressing the newcomer.
