In his early years, Alabaster served as the sole guard of a gate to the underworld. Dutiful and serious, he was not one to back down from a fight. This valour and commitment would eventually lead to a skirmish that Alabaster could not win. In one particularly vicious fight, he was pinned by a demon, unable to fight back. It wasn’t until another Wolfon came to help fight the demon off that Alabaster managed to escape.
In the struggle, his right horn was broken, and the right side of his face was terribly scarred. He keeps the skull of this demon, the first battle that ever truly challenged him, as a reminder that he is not as invincible as he once thought he was. If asked, he will say he wears the skull as both a piece of armour and as a warning. This is only partly the truth, as Alabaster is greatly ashamed of his scars, and uses the skull as a way to hide them from the world.
