Since he was little, Maverick has been obsessed with birds and how they fly. He feels that flying is a form of freedom and has always wanted to feel what it's like. He's an intelligent buck, so from a young age he attempted making gliders. He'd run to the top of a hill or large Boulder and jump off with his gliders. Often times he'd fall.. getting scratches, scars and broken bones. But he never gave up. He started to make progress, until he finally created the wing glider model he uses now. He's able to pull leavers attached to his wings that allow them to extend and fold. He attached feathers to them for more aerodynamics.. and so it looks more realistic to bird wings. His mask acts as goggles. There are slightly tinted glass lenses over the eye holes to protect his eyes from debris and the sun while gliding. Even though other rabbits think he's strange, he doesn't care. Maverick loves the freedom he feels when he's in the air. He's starting to learn tricks with his wings and he's learning speed. He loves to dart through the air and use his wings to help others. [199/200]
