Hiding Spot After a long day of tending to sometimes difficult lionesses Altaira likes to sneak off into the hills. There she can get lost among them and stay hidden for as long as she likes, but still be able to watch everything going on below her. She finds it peaceful in some ways, and sometimes gets to see some pretty interesting things from her hiding place. Every time she goes there she makes sure to cover or lessen her scent and tracks as best she can so no one will follow her. Not that they necessarily would anyway. She is unimportant to most and knows this well. But it works out for the best since it means she can sneak away easily and avoid the drama and danger the pride tends to offer.

High on the Eastern mountain, sitting almost on the exact eastern border of the Flame Valley Pride’s territory, sits a small, windy cliff. Very few members of the pride dare to venture that high, if any ever do, so it’s normally a quiet, empty spot.
However, that little cliff face, requiring nerves of steel to approach, has a fantastic bird’s-eye view of the whole territory, over the trees and the river all the way to the Western Mountain.
And this is where Xelo likes to hide from the others. Discovered in a recent scouting trip, Xe spends most of his free time in a meditative silence in his spot, keeping a bird’s eye watch over the territory, while also giving his introverted bones a well needed rest!
