The wind is a harsh chill coming in through the open window, but Reiji wouldn't trade it for anything. Reds, oranges, and shades of brown stroll by him, waving and dancing in the cold fall breeze. He does this every year, the tails are where the belongs. The clack clack clack of the train wheels and the side to side rocking of the car a personal lullaby. Where he's going doesn't matter, it's this act of traveling that's his favorite part about the fall. Reiji turns to the window, smiling into the wind. The trees wave back at them as they disappear into the land behind him.

Even though he does not admit it, jumping in puddles with leaves in them, even just a few, makes the whole activity so much more fun and beautiful, and this is one of the few things that can bring a smile on his face, especially when the trees are starting to lose all the colorful leaves.
