It makes him feel secure since the toy is larger than him. Sometimes he'll hop onto the elephant's back and watch around the world like a king. He takes it on journeys by pulling it by the trunk with great effort.

Phillip’s favorite toy is a little plush bird. He’s kept it with him all his life. Though some find it silly and childish, Phillip has a strong emotional attachment to the tiny bird. It brings him back to the innocent, easy days of his early childhood. Before he could see, he relied on scents and sounds. One of his very first memories is hearing the sweet sound of the songbird every morning when he woke up. Phillip is fond of looking back and reliving this memory, and he hears the soft song every time he looks at his beloved bird plush.

Alright this was a hard competition to judge. But I feel like this entry was well put together. The reasoning behind why the bird is his favorite is honestly extremely beautiful and unique. It really pulled on my heartstrings when I read it. Congratulations to Streak! <3
