"Someone once told me, when you die, you become a star. I didn't really believe them at first, but over time I grew to understand their words." Prompt Response : One might say it was a waste of breath and time to simply loose reality while glancing at the starts, but it seemed Erebos didn’t mind that at all as he lay in the middle of a grassy meadow observing the stars while on his back. The amount of amazement and curiosity he had while staring into the night sky could not easily be calculated. Though he may have lost track of time and reality while staring at the stars, he could still feel the breeze flowing through his fur which he knew was a sign that fall was approaching. With a new season approaching that would mean there would be new things to observe in the sky, but at the same time to sky is always changing even if one cannot see it. Space is a ever evolving thing. With stars dying and more stars being made the sky you’d see one night would not be the same as the next. Erebos would connect this idea with the snowflake theory, which was every snowflake was unique, just as every night of stargazing was unique and different then the last, which merely made Erebos more interested in this hobby of his. As the time for his stargazing drew to a close Erebos would stand up and begin walking to where he called home, of course before beginning his journey back home he would take one more glance towards the starry night sky he loved to look at ever so dearly.

“Why do I stare at the sky all night? I do it because... um, can you keep a secret?”

He blushes and looks wistfully at the sky.

“Ever since I was a kit, I’ve been fascinated with them... the stars, I mean. When I fell asleep, I had dreams where I flew up into the night sky, touching them, dancing with them, and listening to them sing and tell stories. Sometimes I would climb trees to see if I could reach them. They were always too far away or course.”

He chuckles, then turns to you, smiling.

“Hey, don’t you think it’s weird? These stars... our ancestors saw those exact same stars when they looked at the sky.”

He stares back up into the night and sighs, the light twinkling off his eyes.

“They’ve been watching over us for so long... I want to see what they’ve seen.”

Jack likes to see the stars from the place he grew up, his family's farm.
It's a few hours drive to get there, so Jack packs enough stuff to stay the night over.
Once he arrives he greets his parents and they have supper together.
At night, Jack likes to sleep in the open loft of the barn and watches the stars. Sometimes he'll even sit on the roof.

Seeing the stars far away from the city lights is so captivating, you see more than you ever could and he really misses that about here since he lives in the suburbs.
He loves seeing the stars like this because it reminds him of some of his favorite memories, like his first date with his girlfriend Melody, or the time he and his dad roasted marshmallows and talked about the baseball game he just won that day, and the time he had gotten lost in the woods but remembered how to find where he was based on the stars.

He also gets to see so many more constellations and likes to spot as many as he can.
His favorite constellation is the big dipper, I mean who's isn't it?

But when morning comes he takes in a deep breath with a smile on his face and exhales in delight of the wonderful sight of the stars that night.
