it is with a heavy heart I am stepping down as head mod (recently ghost mod) and ghost artist.
buttermilks have been a species I’ve stuck with for quite some time now and were a species I put my heart into after a lot of complicated, messy things. but this is not about that.
I’ve really and truly enjoyed my time in buttermilks. this community is the most welcoming and wonderful communities I have been in, and it truly has been an utmost pleasure to be staff for you all- helping you guys out, partaking in fooligan activities, and of course designing for you guys. I remember when I first set up the discord for buttermilks and good golly has this grown. sprig truly has done a wonderful job fostering such a friendly species and running it so well, and I am honored to have been a part of that alongside the other dedicated staff.

I made a lot of friends in this community and I’m quite close with many people now, and I’ve really loved growing as a person alongside you all. I’ve loved developing my kids too and I loved being a part of other people developing their kiddos, and seeing everyone progress and get even better than they were before. I’m so, so proud to see where we all are today, even for those members who are newer. it’s been a privilege to get to know you all, and hopefully I can begin to know you all even better now that I do not have all this responsibility on my plate in an official capacity. I’ve been struggling a lot recently personally in my life and I know it’s been hindering my ability, but hopefully now I can just offer y’all support and love without my mod title. not much will change, aside from me no longer doing designs, and taking care of mod duties. I’ll still be here with everyone as best as I can be.

you are all phenomenal individuals and you are all so incredibly talented, good hearted, and smart. you guys always help one another and stick up for one another and that’s not something that happens really ever elsewhere, in places like school and work and even other communities online. you are all remarkably special and important to me and y’all always will be. keep staying brave and kind, be the change you want to be in the world. I know times can be tough, but I know everyone in this community will be doing good things in your lives. remember to stick together as a community and grow even more, become the best people you possibly can be. I have faith in you all, and I know everything will turn out to be just fine.

I look forward to the future now and what it has in store, and I can’t wait to see where buttermilks go further. I hope to be here for the whole ride with everyone.

This is just a generic message, but given I am leaving CS and Buttermilks I am sorting out homes for all of my cows.

This kiddo here will be staying with me. I am going to be transferring them out of Buttermilks to become just a regular cow, so they no longer will be a Buttermilk or will be on Buttermilk lines. This is something covered by CS rules and something I have run by CS oekaki mods in advance. Given there is no rule covering transferring out, I am allowed to take them out of species as long as I no longer use official Buttermilk references (similar to Rise’s reference rule).

They are to never leave my care, or be readopted out. Given this design belongs to me and there are no prior conditions about ownership and transfers, something vetted by CS mods, they will be permanently staying with me. Given that I am quitting CS, in case ownership is ever questioned, they officially belong to Morghost on toyhou.se - given the characters are NOT public on this account, they will not be publicly visible. This is so that there is documentation (as suggested by CS mods) that these Buttermilks staying with me are officially mine and are allowed to be pulled out of species.

(Since this is something I already discussed with mods prior, this is something they are aware of and I will note in my ticket to them if this is ever an issue).

Given that the nursery lines do allow for inactive cows to be used as long as a valid permission is added to the form, this can be considered public proof. I will keep their barn pages up, but this is easily accessible permissions. This Buttermilk does have some slots given out that are expected to be upheld. This can be considered a public permission for those who question the legitimacy of Discord screenshots.

Requirements for slot:
Morgan's slots were chosen carefully to people who I knew would take good care of his children. That being said, I have not formally requested any requirements. I had spoken to those on this list prior about what i would like, so I do ask for those who have his children to take good care of them and to keep the children canon and in the family.

For those reading this, it was a pleasure to be in Buttermilks - both as head mod, artist, and as a community member. It is a shame to think that now I am leaving CS entirely, but ultimately the way the dice rolled led to this. I know when I had stepped down that I said I hoped to be here for the whole ride with everyone - unfortunately, it seems like this will not be the case. At the very least, the kids I love so dearly will now be able to stay with me, even if at times it might be only in the spiral of my school notebooks.
