Positive Pride Experience: I went to a pride parade in my hometown last year (I think) together with my best friend, and we accidentally got an entire section of the parade to sing Dancing Queen by ABBA with us! It was an amazing feeling and I wish I could go to the parade again this year :,)

Honestly, finding out I wasn't the only one and just some weirdo was the best for me. At first when I realized I was what people call asexual/grey-asexual, but without the term, I was fine with it. But when I realized it wasn't the "norm" and other people weren't usually at all like me, I felt more broken and strange-- until other people told me they felt the same way, and that there was actually a term for it! It also felt really nice to talk to my family about it, and turns out a few others in my family are the same way, but they had no idea that it was an acceptable and perfectly okay thing!
