how do they feel about heartbreak?
heartbreak? well, that depends. sometimes,
if she feels truly attached to the other, the
heartbreak will leave her shattered, and
she'll isolate herself from nearly everyone
else. it won't last long though. it never did.
and within a few days, sometimes weeks,
natasha would be back to normal.

the reason for this... her first- no, second,
boyfriend, had shown her that she'd need
to learn to control herself. don't go
around dating everyone just because you
feel bad. but honestly, even though she'd
tried, it never worked. she would continue
to feel bad for everyone and soon they'd
date. until natasha found out that the
other really wasn't as deserving as she'd
once thought. so, she'd cut off the
relationship- rather quickly- and then
continue trying to control herself.

how do they feel about heartbreak?; Broken hearts can come in many forms.
For some, it's love. For others it's the loss of a family member or a dear friend. Other times it can come from a parent choosing to walk away from your life. Or perhaps it comes from a fight with your best friend.
The point is that hearts are as fragile as glass. Some can be bullet-proof and take on a multitude of damage. Others can crack with a single word. Some can even shatter at the slightest touch. Then there are the strongest of hearts that are the most damaged and the most broken. They look and act fine, but the truth is they hide their pain like a raging storm that attacks them from the inside; destroying any joy they know. So think twice when someone says I'm fine... You never know when there's a chance when they say "I'm fine" what they're really saying is, "help me," "care for me," "comfort me." They are too afraid to say it, let alone show it. Maybe they're hoping for the day when someone says, "I know you're not okay" and "I'm here for you."

Konagona-ni is a gentle Kalon who wears a soft smile that can almost seem sad.
He speaks softly as if his words were a whisper and if you were to look in his eyes you would see that there is great pain behind them.

Some who look at Konagona-ni and his marking and think that's all he is: broken. But truth be told each broken heart on his body represents a time when he had his heart broken. The shine on his tail is probably the greatest of all and is the most painful memory for him.

He knows the pain of grief.
He knows the pain of being abandoned.
The pain of losing those you love.
The pain of a friend turning on you.

He knows the painful silence; the silence when you're heart grows so faint that you almost think that you no longer have one.

He has felt the pain of not knowing if things will get better or if hearts can be mended.

But Konagona-ni is a fighter. He's gone through such pain and heartache and is still able to smile. He's able to live.

So when others come to him and ask him, "What do you think of heartbreak and the stages of grief?"
Konagona-ni will answer with a smile, "Pain and heartbreak are just as important as joy and laughter. Heartache is the way that the heart strengths itself... So in some way, pain is a good thing. It reminds us that we are alive and that we are all survivors. So you ask me what I think of heartbreak... Well, all I can say is that I wouldn't change a moment in my life because everything I am is because of my pain."

If you drop a glass, doesn't It ever get up and repair itself? No it doesn't. That's what it feels like to Willow. Being shattered into a million pieces and never to be repaired form the damage again. Having no one there for you. It feels like your so close, but so far away. Like a drifting raft out at sea. When she was only 4, she had her first heartbreak. Her father had died. Willow's mother was stressed out. She would snap at Willow for just speaking. Her mother couldn't afford to keep Willow and raise her without a father. Willow was put up for adoption. She didn't understand what the horrible feeling inside her was. Well, it was heartbreak and sorrow. She was depressed for days until the adoption center sent her to a therapist. She spent 5 years alone, mute, in the adoption center. She got adopted when she was 9. She meant a boy she loved. He had a prince charming smile and beautiful baby blue fur. She gathered all her courage told him her feelings. He burst out laughing, thinking it was a joke. That same shattered feeling came back to her all at once. The next day, everyone laughed at her for saying that to her crush. She didn't show up at school for days. Then, a classmate of hers came forward and comforted her. Almost the same comfort as the therapist. She felt much better after this classmate did this. So, to put it simply, Willow feels that heartbreaks are things that make you feel sad,alone,shattered and broken. But, there's always a door that can lead to success, happiness, joy, and love. And I told you, my name is Petra, not Peter." Magpie's voice was harsh, though showed no anger or sadness. "Yeah, it is. Whatever. I can't date a guy who thinks he's a girl, sorry 'Petra'." The girl spat out Magpie's name with hatred. Magpie smirked at her. "Ok, then go. I don't need some toxic jerk to hold me back. Magpie didn't believe in heartbreak, it was only obsessing over people who don't care about you. A form of infatuation. It was pointless and stupid in her opinion, they say they don't like you anymore and come groveling back to you. They needed her, not the other way around. Silly fools (211 words)
