Enzy huffed as he burst through the front door, messily slinging his backpack to the floor. He drug his feet as he walked through the house, wing tips brushing the walls. Enzy waddled into the kitchen, rubbing tired eyes as he popped the fridge open. A small smile peaked on his cheeks. A single soda sat in the center of the rather empty fridge, a small letter attached to it. In beautiful cursive, it read as so:

“Dear Enzyme,
I’m very sorry I won’t be here when you get home. I’ve just started night shift at that little corner store. We really could use the money. Here’s something I got for you. I know you love these.
- with love,
Mama”

He had always loved the soda; it’s called Emotin Mix. No one knows how it works, but when you hold the bottle, it changes color to match your emotions. Even better, it changes flavor to support/help that emotion. As he held the soda, it turned a deep purple. From the label, he could see this was a mixture of sad and anxious. As Enzy drank the soda, it tasted of the most comforting cookies. Odd, but very heart warming.
