The reason behind the mask is because the Kalons have too many scars and one of their eyes is missing. The flesh and fur still hangs loosely around the muzzle, to hide the deformity of their face, due to others mocking and teasing their deformity because they were attacked by a large mountain lion. The Kalons are mates and they decided to make a mask with bones, cloth, and other material.
They lost their mother at a very young age, as an angry mob burnt down their home with their poor beloved mother inside. Living on the street in England isn’t as easy as you would think. The roads are harsh and the creatures are even more ferocious then those in homes, cast out, the sisters seemed shelter in an old abandoned opera building. They lived there since 1840, hiding there, if you happen to be near that old opera building, the locals say you can hear them singing a lullaby.
