What scared her?: The real question is what DOESN'T scare her? Quinny is a very jumpy person over all and has severe anxiety. This time though she got so spooked she hid! What scared her is the cries of a baby wolf. Quinny knows the sound of a crying baby wolf means a mother is near, and ready to relieve the cries in any way, by doing anything. Quinny also knows what wolves can and will do, she doesn't want to be hurt so she ran and ran and ran. When she opened her eyes she realized she had passed her home and ran back only to see the mom wolf in front of her house. She made her way in the house through the back without harm but hid after.
How do you calm her?:

What scared her?: Lidia awoke, staring into the face of what she could not make out. all she could see was it's gleaming, evil green eyes gazing down at her, and it's disturbing, devilish smile. Suddenly, Lidia knew where she was. "no!i refuse to believe it!" she said to herself. but what was obvious couldn't be denied. she was at the circus! and the horrible sight just above her was the ringmaster. she had heard stories, which was very unfortunate, as it did not help her fear a bit. all of a sudden she was in a ring, crowds all around her, and lights flashing into her eyes. that same, terrible face, which she had seen only minutes ago was there, but soft, and friendly looking. except now she could make out his features. he was tall, skinny, and had a stringy mustache, red coat, black leggings, whip, and a black top hat. Lidia's mother had always told her to never stray away into a circus. the ringmaster tried to coax her towards him. Lidia wouldn't budge. he cracked his whip. Lidia stumbled backwards. "why do they want a cow in a circus?" Lidia thought. The ringmaster cracked his whip again, this time it came crashing down on her back. Lidia bolted towards him. he jumped out of the way just in the nick of time. Lidia cut her eyes from side to side to see if there was any escape. she saw an open exit, and ran towards it. "where am i?" Lidia thought. the circus ring had faded away, the crowds cheering and the ringmasters cruel voice. now it was only darkness surrounding her. the only thing remaining was the glowing red exit sign and the door, open with white light pouring from it. Lidia woke up. she was still quite shaken by the nightmare.

How do you calm her?: a farmer open the door. "Lidia?" she ask in a soothing tone. "i heard you mooing and moaning, are you okay?" Lidia rushed to her owner and licked her face. Katie, the farmer, hugged Lidia closely. "Lidia, i have a surprise for you. follow me" Lidia scampered after her owner. they were nearing the house. Lidia had wished many times she could go inside that house, and moo at the laughter of her human friends. Katie stepped out of the way, and Lidia saw a giant door in front of her, installed in the living room. "you can come inside, with us now. no more nightmares, Lidia" with both of their eyes glazed with emotion, they entered the living room with white light pouring from it. Lidia could have sworn she saw and old exit sign above it.

name: Brooklyn

What scared her?:

Their sound is all too familiar to Brooklyn. Her head swings back and forth and her eyes scan the sky for any sign of them. It is quite obvious when one is near because of the horrific sound they make. Buzz, Buzz. That sound is the result of their teeny tiny wings rubbing against one another. Not only is the thought of their wings that terrifies her, but also their huge eyes that seem to look right into her soul. Since their eyes are so huge, these insects almost have a 360-degree view of their surroundings. Brooklyn says, “That just means they are watching me all the time”. She is pretty sure she read somewhere that these little monsters actually have five eyes. Most moos believe they only have two, but these insects have three microscopic eyes on their forehead, between their two main eyes.

She cannot seem to figure out why, but for some reason, they actually like being around her. But it is not only her they seem to be attracted to—they also seem to like being around her friends. This development has made it pretty difficult for Brooklyn to even hang out with her buddies anymore. Whenever she thinks of going outside, she thinks of the noise they make, their five eyes, and their grubby little feet rubbing together. Why do they rub together? Brooklyn thinks it is because they are plotting a revolution to take over the world, or maybe just plotting to terrorize and land on Brooklyn.

So many different things about these insects cause her heart to race. They seem to be almost indestructible. Not only were they granted the ability to fly, but they also have another ability in their back pocket—walking upside down. They can attack her from anywhere, even her home is not safe. Somehow, when she is baking sweet treats, they manage to find a way inside her home, ruining the cake or pie she had just spent hours working on. The thought of them tasting with their feet is enough to make Brooklyn faint.

However, maybe this gift from Brooklyn’s friend could help Brooklyn live a normal live again…

How do you calm her?:

To calm Brooklyn, her friend Cecelia actually gave her what is possibly the best gift Brooklyn had ever received. Cecelia gifted Brooklyn with the sheet! While Brooklyn is wearing the sheet, those pesky bugs cannot invade her personal space. Although she knows she probably looks very silly wearing a thin sheet with two holes cut out for her eyes, the sheet is now her security blanket. Brooklyn does not usually wear the sheet around the house, but she will use it outside if she believes that the weather will draw these bugs to come near her.

With the help of the sheet, Brooklyn’s anxiety is slowly going away. She has recently started hanging out with her friends again, which has majorly helped her social life. She finds herself using her security sheet less and less. It helps that her friends were so understanding about her fear, and do not mind walking around with Brooklyn while she is wearing her sheet.

Maybe now Brooklyn is finally ready to stop using the sheet altogether…

    What scared her?:

Ah yes, the rainy season: a perfect time to cuddle up in your blanket with some hot choco and a romcom movie. Meri booted up her laptop while preparing hot water to mix in the chocolate powder and marshmallows, afterwards heading back to her side of the barn to start the movie. She gently put down her mug and sat down, finding a comfy position. Surely, by that point, her movie has loaded enough for her to start watching--

"Ahh!" Meri screamed in terror, almost toppling over her mug of chocolate. "My movie hasn't loaded yet!"

It's never happened to her before; Meri had access to the fastest internet in the barn, and only she knew the password to that. Was it because of the rainy season? Was it just one of those days where the wifi was naturally slow? Maybe she should call her internet service provider. Or could it have been...

"Someone is stealing my wifi." She said in a whisper.

Meri looked around the barn for anyone who could've been stealing her net. Almost every other animal in the barn was asleep, asides from the chickens roaming around pecking at the ground for more food. Her shifty eyes gazed left and right, up and down for any form of life that could've been using gadgets that caught her wifi and, for some reason, her wifi password.

Looking back to her own barn in distress, she grabbed her mug of choco and pressed it near her mouth for her to blow. As she took a sip, she looked down on her own drink and was immediately shocked by the turn of events.

"Wh-where are the marshmallows on my hot choco?" She exclaimed. "All my marshmallows are gone!"

Quickly putting down her mug, Meri grabbed her white blanket in fear of whatever entity was making fun of her. First her wifi, and now her marshmallows? Who was there, and what else did they want to do with her? Why her, why Meri, of all the animals in the barn?

Whatever was happening was scaring (and stressing) the heck out of her.

    How do you calm her?:

A quick glance to the side and she noticed a line of ants marching to and fro the cracks in the wall right beside her corner of the barn. They were seemingly harmless, but Meri nonetheless, in fear and stress, slammed her hoof on the wall. A hoard of ants fell towards the cracked entrance and started scrambling on the barn floor. It didn't help her situation, but it looked funny to her anyway.

...And then a half-consumed marshmallow fell down and rolled outside the crack.

"You!" Meri said. "You took my marshmallows!" She got up and raised her hoof. "Why, I outta smash you--"

"Wait!" said the faintest voice, seemingly coming from one of the ants. "Please don't harm us. Our colony is big and we just needed food for the rainy days." The ant paused. In a fainter voice the ant trailed off,
"...and wifi because we get bored when it rains."

"What was that last part?" Meri asked, kneeling to the floor.

"W-wifi?" The ant said, terrified. "Ants can't go out when it rains, and we... just kinda needed a source of entertainment."

Meri bolted up. "You've been stealing my food and my wifi! And to think I thought it was a ghost!" She huffed. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't trample on you right now--"

"W-w-we can pay!" The ant said, trying to keep composure. "We can pay, a-and we can help you do other things, like steal stuff when no one's looking. I guess it hasn't occurred to you that we know your wifi password because we can just watch you typing, right?"

Meri paused. The ants were good. "Alright," she said, coming out of her white blanket. "You better pay me for the wifi, at least. Ask permission if it's my food you want. And if I need your help, no backing out. Alright? Or else I'll call pest control on you."

"D-deal!" The ant exclaimed, and hurriedly ran back to their crack in the wall along with the other colony members. Who would've thought Meri would make a pact with a bunch of ants in her barn wall? She shrugged it off and went back to her laptop and now marshmallow-less drink.

And hey, her movie's loaded already, so everything seemed to work out just fine.
