Arya loves to play in the grass with her sweet, adorable little nature Pokémon! She needs bouncy, energetic Pokémon that can keep up with her, as she loves to explore. She’s a fleeing fanatic; Arya would rather run around with her team in the grass, searching for rare items than fight another trainer. She’s a huge softie, so she couldn’t stand to see one of her little babies get hurt. A child at heart, she wants to stay young forever, and wants the same for her Pokémon, so she refuses to evolve them. Plus, it makes them easier to carry around with her. Not to mention, she’s extremely old-fashioned, or as some would say “retro” so she refuses to play any game past Black and White.

shuppets, known for feeding on
negative emotions, were an obvious
choice for harley's little family. the
idea had come to her after visiting
a sanctuary with poppy, where she'd
seen several abandoned shuppets,
left out after hatching from mystery
eggs. harley felt a lot of her worry
and anxiety melt away near the little
pokemon, and after inquiring about
them, she'd been told they were good
for people with anxiety like herself.
one of the shuppets, nyx, wouldn't
leave harley's side as she walked
around the sanctuary, and she ended
up with a new family member as she left.

poppy was harley's first pokemon.
she never had the intention of fighting,
so she asked around and, when ready,
applied for the adoption of the skiddo.
she was ecstatic when she heard that
she'd been chosen to take the pokemon
home, and she readied her little yard
out by her garden for the skiddo. of
course, once she'd actually brought
poppy home, it was clear he wouldn't
be staying outside, where she intended
him to. he was attached at her hip,
refusing to leave her for more than a
few minutes at a time, and he'd scream
when left alone. harley didn't mind,
though, as she didn't intend to leave him.

winifred helps harley with many
things, from keeping her on task
around her cottage to reminding her
of her daily tasks. seeing as harley's
'team' isn't for battling, but more for
helping her out around her house,
solosis was recommended to her by
a friend, and harley was quick to
thank them the next time she saw
them. wini's normally found hanging
out either in harley's bag, nudging
her when she gets off task, or on her
shoulder, gripping on for dear life as
harley does work in the garden. at
the end of the day, though, wini's
snuggled up nicely at the end of the bed.

gomez came to harley's family last.
harley had been walking skiddo when
she heard the sound of trash cans
clattering to the ground. carefully,
she'd moved to the alley she'd heard
the noises in, and was surprised when
she saw the large cat pokemon with
it's ears pinned back, trying to get up
to the nest of starly on an ac unit.
calling out softly to the liepard, harley
was shocked when it immediately
turned to her with narrow eyes but
no sign it was going to attack. in fact,
once it caught a whiff of the rare candy
in her pocket, it seemed keen to follow
her home, where it decided it wanted to stay.

maki was a gift to harley- one she
hadn't originally intended to keep.
she didn't see the use for a water
pokemon in her small wooded area,
and she didn't want the poor fish to
have to stay on ground when it was
obvious he was uncomfortable. she
took to looking for a new family for
the magikarp, but found nothing but
people all too eager to evolve him.
after several failed attempts to find
him a new home, she gave in and had
a pond placed to the side of her small
garden, big enough for all her family
to relax in on hot summer days, and
close enough that maki didn't feel alone.

wisteria came to join harley's family
as a turtwig. the thing is, she came
as a turtwig with a love for rare candy.
being one unable to deny her beloved
pokemon of anything, harley kept a
few in her pocket at all times, giving
the little one a candy when she asked.
soon enough, harley had a grotle, and
not long after that, a very big torterra
who loved to knock her over nudging
her for candy. harley doesn't mind the
bruises her big lovebug gives her, though,
as wisteria lets her use her back as
an extension of her garden, which
mutually benefits them. wis is also a
good, shady bed to rest on in the summer.
