jay and mango are best friends, but they look at eachother like siblings. jay is like mango’s little brother, and he looks up to her. however, jay has always stood out in the pop community, and he’s always seen it as negative. jay was born colorless. now, pops are supposed to be colorful and pastel, but this wasn’t the case for jay. in fact, he was the first pop to ever be born like this! jay was bullied for this, and he always hated being so dull. of course, mango was always there for him, but she hated seeing him so upset.
mango was always a creative pop, loving to draw, paint, craft, etc. she had many supplies, but she was sure none of them ever went to waste. however, mango had a selection of dyes that she had never used, and she was determined to find someway to use them.
after lots of thinking, an idea popped into mango’s head. she was sure it was the best idea she’s ever had. of course - she could dye jay’s fur! that way, he’d fit in and be happier! as soon as she thought of the idea, she had grabbed all of the dyes and some clothes before running to jay’s home. jay was confused at first, but once he heard the idea, he was ecstatic. this was it - he’d finally be colorful!
after quite some time of dying jay’s fur, the outcome was everything he’d hoped it’d be and more. mango even gave jay some of her colorful clothing to match. however, mango did indeed use temporary dye as she wanted to be sure he liked it and could go back to his original self if he wanted, so she has to dye his fur every month, but she doesn’t mind helping out her best pal.
