~ Personality ~
Archer is an adventurous stallion who lives for pushing himself past his limits. He is very fit and is proud of his abilities. This pride can come across as arrogance, and perhaps he is a little over-confident, but for the most part he knows his boundaries. Even with this being the case though, he is usually more than happy to push himself to overcome whatever limitations he might have.
He is a loyal friend who is never afraid of stepping in when he sees that someone needs help, although sometimes this help isn't really wanted. He can come across as a little pushy in this regard, but his friends know that he means well and only wants to help them. It has caused a few to confront him about it though, at which point he is immediately apologetic and will back down.
He is emotionally sensitive and takes both criticisms and praise deeply to heart, wishing to use them to better himself even further. He is quick to praise others, but has learned somewhat to curb his open critique unless it is asked for.
One day he hopes to find a mare that is as adventurous and ambitious as he is. Someone that will enjoy going out into the world and pushing their limits together, supporting and helping one another to the best of their abilities.

Physical Activity. If he isn't moving, he isn't happy.
Hiking. This pushes his physical limits and encourages him to get stronger.
Races, although he may not be very fast due to the muscle bulk that he has.
Learning new things. He is always seeking new knowledge and storing it away for later.
Dark chocolate. Something about the bittersweet treat just satisfies his cravings perfectly.
Truthfulness. Honesty with oneself and with others is very important to him.
~ Dislikes ~
Laziness. Nothing irritates him faster than a lazy individual.
Willful ignorance. He doesn't understand why someone wouldn't want to learn as much as they can about the world.
White chocolate. What even is this stuff?
Lies. Why lie? It will only likely come back later to bite you in the rump.
Horseshoes. They feel weird and make his hooves slip when he is climbing over stones.

~ History ~
Archer was born and raised in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, USA. He grew up dreaming of climbing up those towering peaks, but no one in his herd was very athletic, so he did not get the chance until he was nearly six years old.He had left his mother's herd and had struck out on his own, which he knew was risky, but he was nothing if not determined and stubborn. The first peak he ever attempted was Mount Elbert, but he failed. He was forced to admit defeat and return to the base of the mountain when a blizzard swept in and nearly froze the unprepared stallion. He has yet to try again to climb Elbert, but he has topped other mountains in the same range. He does hope one day to overcome his hesitation and attempt it once again. Since then he has traveled to Europe and Asia to tackle the mountain ranges there, and he is still there as we speak. He not only enjoys the landscape and mountain climbing, he also enjoys the food and visiting with the friendly people that he comes across.
