Cat Name;; Pinewhisper
Gender;; She-cat
Age;; 28 moons
Clan;; WoodclanRank;; Warrior
Prompt;; Pinewhisper has a tendency to get lost; lost in her thoughts which causes her to get lost on patrols or hunts. Completely zoning out in her own thoughts most of the time it takes her running into something, tripping or some one getting her attention for her to snap out of it. If its the tripping or running into something its she normally is then far away from her patrol or hunting group. Which then she starts to freak out frantically looking for her fellow warriors. Which at some point she will end up running into them; literally running into them. Sometimes they hadn't even noticed she was gone, but most of the times they have and now are searching for her as well. Most clan members are use to her antics by now; so they tend to know to make sure she is still there.

prompt ;; (481/500 words)
Acornfur felt her body freezing as her paws stepped through the icy undergrowth. She didn’t expect it to be so, so cold. Her voice had ceased to work a while ago, and each time she opened her jaws, frosty air escaped but nothing more. Her eyes slowly moved to the sky, looking for the rocks of her camp, but only the treetops and starry sky met her view. Something was wrong.
Each step became more and more of an effort in the cold, but they just didn’t know where they were going. Acornfur’s eyes drifted down and she noticed an oddly shaped rock that she could have sworn she’d passed before. Or maybe she hadn’t. Her sense of direction became increasingly off as she continued, trying to find home. The oddly shaped rock appeared in front of her again. And again. And again. A scream cried out from her dried throat, summoning a flurry of gentle footsteps to her aid.
“Darling, where have you been?” Boulderfoot’s voice was low and gentle, and brought warmth back to her being, despite it being the middle of leaf-bare.
Her tail scraped the ground. “Looking for Violetleap.” Guilt flooded Acornfur’s senses as Boulderfoot’s jaw dropped, shocked at his mate. The queen, and her best friend, had taken her barely old enough kits and fled the camp, but their scents didn’t go to anywhere in particular, making it very difficult to track her down.
“We’ve sent out patrols, Acornfur.” The deputy sighed. “Come back to camp. We’ll keep looking tomorrow.” His voice was the biggest comfort she could receive and walked by his side back to the camp, tails together and him guiding her every step of the way. Everything seemed familiar and yet not at all.
“I just…I got lost?” The she-cat sighed at herself, gazing towards her mate just before her feet touched the camp. “I never get lost, Boulderfoot. Never. Why now?” She felt like a naive kit asking him such a simple question. Instead of scolding her, Boulderfoot merely sat in front of Acornfur, blocking her view ahead.
“You were distracted by the thought of your friend being missing.” Blunt words, but his tone was still peaceful. “You’re a great tracker, Acornfur, but you have to understand what a situation like this can do to your head.” Her cheeks grew warm as he spoke. “I don’t think you would go out in the cold of leaf-bare in the middle of the night if you weren’t this distracted.”
“No, I wouldn’t.” Her voice became low as the regret settled in her fur. Something very bad could have happened if she used her brain even less than her little adventure required. Without another word, Acornfur slowly made her way through the camp and towards the deputy’s den, getting ready for a good sleep with Boulderfoot by her side.
She just hoped they’d find Violetleap.

Cat Name;; Cherrystem
Gender;; female
Age;; 62 moons
Clan;; Ridgeclan
Rank;; medicine cat
Prompt;; (420/500)
"I don't get it," Fallenstone commented sitting on the edge of the camp, watching as Cherrystem left with Nightwing as her escort for the day.
"Don't get what?" Kestrelstar asked, pausing his grooming to look over at his deputy, wondering just what had the younger tom confused.
"Why Cherrystem always needs someone to go with her when she goes out for herbs or anything really. She was born in the clan and I know she knows a few fighting moves, so what's with the warrior?" He asked clearly confused as to why the older molly always needed someone to go with her even if it wasn't far from camp.
Kestrelstar let out a chuckle before answering the question, "I guess you're a little young so maybe you don't know what happened. When she was just an apprentice Cherrystem fell from the cliffs and got hit on the way down, they couldn't get her to wake up when they found her and the medicine cat her mentor wasn't sure if she would ever wake up. It was two days before she did and at first, she seemed just fine, but once they started going out and training again it became apparent the far had done something to her. The medicine cat couldn't say why other then she must have hit her head and it messed something up but Cherrystem can't navigate to find her own tail outside of camp. She'll go around a tree and get lost, it's like she can't remember which way to go or where she came from."
“And there’s no way to fix it?” Fallenstone asked, now worried about the medicine cat.
“Not that we’ve found. Cherrystem deals with it, she’s accepted and gotten used to it. Says its like her mind just blanks when she tries to figure out where to go. But she trusts the clan to lead her and help her remember where the herbs she needs grow.” Kestrelstar answers with the shrug. The medicine cat was older than himself so for him, she’d just always been like that it was just how it was.
The clan was good about it, whenever Cherrystem needed to go out she didn’t have to look far for volunteers, the older apprentice often eager to go with her and explore. She’d had to deal with it for so long that it didn’t bother her and besides every time she left camp, it was like she was seeing the forest for the first time and every time after that.

Did you forget me so soon?
The one who made you,
turned you into this monster?
How sad.
Though I guess it's to be expected,
you always liked to block things out.
If it didn't make sense in your mind,
you just forgot about it.
But maybe it's because I didn't,
make you into a monster that is.
You already were a monster,
weren't you? ✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦ ✧ ✦

Cat Name;; Thimble
Gender;; Female
Age;; 17 moons
Clan;; Fogclan
Rank;; Warrior/Kittypet
Prompt;; Thimble has never been the sharpest claw on the paw, having a bit of an airiness to her and a lack of awareness about her surroundings. Some say that it can be blamed on her kittypet bloodline, knowing that many cats who come from such lifestyles know little to nothing about the world that lies beyond their fenced in 'territory' that they call home, their only experience with hunting of fighting to do with playing with human-made toys that resemble prey, and battering eachother with soft, delicate paws. Having lived in a human home for her whole life, never allowed to wander even into her own enclosed space outside, Thimble had absolutely no knowledge of what lay outside the walls of her den, and didn't mind that at all, having everything she wanted or needed given to her by her doting humans. It wasn't until her humans left the back door open one day that she ever stepped foot outside.
Experience grass underfoot was an odd yet thrilling sensation for the kittypet, and she found herself enjoying the feeling of rolling in the dirt and grass, the fresh and earthy scents filling her with excitement. As she began to wander around the yard of which she had never been allowed to explore, she found herself climbing the fence and staring off into the world beyond; Mountains in the distant, surrounded by rolling hills dotted with trees, and endless grassland for as far as she could see. Before she knew what she was doing, she was scaling down the fence and haring down the hill and into the grasses, adrenaline raging through her veins as this sudden freedom overwhelmed her.
Unfortunately for Thimble, she had not anticipated the challenges of the wild. She found herself lost and hungry, the first time she had ever felt such things. She wandered for days, curious but wary of the towering trees, blustering winds, and the cool of the night. Call it luck or chance, she found herself on Fogclan territory, and was discovered by a patrol that brought the roughed up looking cat back to their camp. Since, the molly has joined them among their ranks, as an unofficial warrior albeit. Together, she is learning how to identify scents, sounds, and landmarks, the stepping stones of life that are tought to kits in order to help them learn how to find their way. Still getting the hang of becoming aware of and memorizing her surroundings, Thimble is still very much prone to getting lost, and often needs a partner to keep an eye on her, but she is a dedicated learner, and is becoming better and better each day.

Sorry for the delay! These three contests were tough to judge, and I haven't had much time/ability to concentrate and give you guys the level-headed judging you all deserve. <3
Congrats! I'll update everything up front shortly. That first line was what really won me over, in the end. xD

Prompt;;Hey! I wouldn't say I'm prone to getting lost, but it's a big world out here, and...
Though, one time as an apprentice, I did venture a little too far...
"I think... I'm lost." I muttered to myself, paws trembling from exhaustion. To be honest, the patrol was boring, and I couldn't handle myself! I got distracted, chased a butterfly, and... I couldn't find the others anywhere.
Just look for a dark fluffball... Rainfang has to be somewhere, it's not that hard. I trudged through the woods, but everything seemed so unfamiliar. I think I've gone over our marking lines. This isn't good!
It was getting late and cold, and still no sign of any familiar cats. I suppose it's time to find a place to rest.... am I really that far?
"Kitty. Where are you going?" Oh no. Another cat, perched on a tree... Their tail twitched in amusement. "A little too far from home, are you?"
"I'm not... far from home! This is my territory!" I arched my back and hissed at the other cat - although slightly afraid of him.
"I've been here for many moons - and I must say, you are quite far. I know a Clan cat when I see one. Hey. Call me Dezz. I'm not here to get you lost, you hear? I'll get you back." though he purred, and added, "I never thought a day would come where I'd help a Clan cat go back to their own Clan... Haha."
"Hey! You're just assuming things! I know where to go - I don't need a rouge's help!" I retorted, stepping back.
"Hey, okay. You don't want my help? That's okay. I'll just leave you here." he curled back on the branch, peering down at Burnetpaw. "I'm waiting for you, kitty."
"I- uh-" I blinked, knowing that I couldn't win - I'd get lost again. But I couldn't let this 'Dezz' win! "Yeah! I don't need some stranger's help."
"...so. About that help?" It was dead of night, and Burnetpaw was dead tired. I had collapsed on the ground - afraid that I was farther then before.
"Urrrgh. Don't get me lost, Dezz." I said apprehensively. "You haven't won! I've just never been here!"
"Of course."
We traveled through the forest - the loner was much... kinder than I expected. He didn't rub it in my face - too much. Though he seemed to relish the fact that he was helping a Clan cat. Soon, I found myself back in my own territory - I never quite relished the scent of AsterClan until now.
"I suppose we're parting?" I called back to him. "You know, maybe one day I'll help you!"
"Maybe." he looked back curiously. "Though I do know more than you may think."
Curious. What a mysterious cat.[460/500]
I hope you don't mind the references ovnwrnio I just found it humorous you actually lost the cat and I got... inspiredSorry if there's any surprise third-person I lost track at the end and edited most of them out
