Cat Name: (Zifzu) Iceblood
Gender: Female
Rank: Warrior
Age: 33 moons
Clan: Breezeclan
Prompt:
Ice paced through the snow, knowing she was in strange territory and aware her ears were going to fall off from the cold any moment now. Her shadow haunted her, but she pressed on until she was ready to collapse from exhaustion. Digging herself a shallow snow den, she shuffles inside letting the heavy fall bury her. It was still cold, but at least she was out of the wind for a moment as she began to drift.

Honeysuckle, a deputy of the clan was out on his own trailing mouse scent. To bring food to his hungry clan would be a blessing. It took a lot of patience and perfect timing to manage it, but he was able to kill three mice digging for seeds. The soft snow slowed them down and the harsh wind had hidden his pawsteps until it was far too late. Three tails in his jaw, the proud cat was returning home when he saw a pair of blue eyes looking at him from under the snow cover.
Hardly noticeable, but there, he jumped in surprise. "Mela-mre'az! You startled me!" He said, pausing in his tracks and slowly moving toward the stranger. "What are you doing out here? Is dangerous this night indeed." The eyes shifted, the cat was tilting their head in confusion. He assumed they were not of Breezeclan or they'd have stepped out and addressed him. They seemed more weary than anything, tired and unable to fight if they tried. He stepped a little closer.
"Come Fela, don't be afraid. I am a leader, my name is Honeysuckle and I live in Breezeclan." He could smell her scent more clearly now, maybe a tail length away. "Come, have a mouse with me. Speak your troubles hunter and I shall listen." He watched the snow shift slightly, part of her head and paws now showing. He dropped the mice and pawed one towards her. While probably a little cold, she took it and ate quickly. "Do you have a face name?"
Again the cat gave him a confused look. "My name is Ice, but I'm not sure what you mean by a 'face name.'' She replied, now mostly done with her mouse. Honeysuckle chuckles happily, his tail swaying.
"You must be the uncommon folk, I've heard and seen many cats who've forgotten the old ways. We here at Breezeclan have three names, the face name is the one you share with others. Ice it would be, and a heart name we should give you. Something you only share with close friends." He explains, though she still looked quite confused.
With a belly partly filled, Ice was feeling better and now quite curious. She hadn't spoken her true name since she left her clan and here would begin something new... "Come with me Fela, will you? I will teach you everything and we can share more mice until the cold passes." Such a sweet cat, love in his eyes even if he hardly knew her.
"I will."
