Story: Smokefang and his sister where born in the city to small group of queens that had banded together for safety. But when they were young, a group of two-legs came and sent them all to shelters, separating the siblings and their mother. Smokefang feared he would never see his sister or his extended family again. He heard rumors that his mother had been put down because she fell ill in the shelter, and the other queens and kits had been sent elsewhere. Hearing this, Smokefang was terrified that if he didn't act fast, he would lose his sister too. He managed to sneak out of his cage one night when the door was left unlocked. He searched fruitlessly, the two-legs had already sent his sister to a different shelter. Smokefang was grief-stricken and tried to find her. He couldn't find any trace of her scent. So he decided to leave and hope that he could find her elsewhere. He searched for moons, returning to their city home, but with no luck whatsovever. He eventaully stumbled upon the mountains, and something in the air invigorated him. He decided that when he found his sister they would come to the mountains to live. It was as he was leaving the mountains behind that he stumbled upon AuroraClan, the clan that his sister had settled into. She had escaped from her shelter prison and found her way into the mountains well. It was perfect, and Smokefang joined the clan as well. He had his only remaing family by his side, and he was free to roam the mountains that he had fallen in love with.

Story:

He watched as his mate played with their kits. It was another hopeful dream... although something about this felt too real, too meaningful, too important. It'd been moons since he'd lost his mate, since she'd fallen over the gorge with him just a tail-length away, paw outstretched. Surely she was alive. If she were dead, wouldn't her spirit have visited from StarClan?

He awoke to reeds rustling. He padded outside, pushing through reeds in search of the source of sound.

He found himself face-to-face with a cat he never thought he'd see again. Two kits skipped around her paws.

"Vixensnow!"
