most embarrassing memory ;; archer remembers it like the back of his paw. to most, it might make them laugh, but in his eyes it was quite possibly the worst event of the entire century. by the gods, maybe even of all time! he's always been a bit dramatic, after all...

enter stage left. archie was the star of the show, playing none other than the famed romeo in the beloved play shakespeare. one of his childhood sweethearts, a flit who went by the name of chamomile, had been named as juliet months ago at the play's beginning, and he had been ecstatic. he practiced for the show harder than he had for any other in his entire life, memorizing nearly every line in his excitement and branding each movement word for word deep into his brain. fast forward a bit, and it was the final act of the show... he stood over juliet's motionless body, crying out each of his lines with all the flair and anguish he could muster, and reached for his 'poison.' of course, it wasn't real— just water that had been dyed red— but the audience mustn't think that. pretending that he simply must join his fallen darling wherever she had gone away to, he uncapped the bottle and tilted it back towards his mouth. but he'd forgotten one very important thing— the 'poison' wasn't exactly tear-free.

missing his mouth just by a hairsbreadth in his dramatic act, the crimson liquid splashed into his eyes and burned so badly that he not only tripped and fell, but fell directly off of the stage and broke one of his legs! the crowd went wild with laughter, and an ashamed archer bolted out of the theater on only three limbs with his ears pinned tightly against his head and tears blurring his eyes. exit stage right.

perhaps it was a silly mistake, but in the eyes of the red and gold actor, nothing could be more embarrassing than ruining the magic... or your chances with a cute girl.
