Aries are said to be fearless, outspoken and brooding. Funnily enough, a lot of traits that go with Aries, both positive and negative, also can be shared with multiple antagonists in children's cartoons. Fierce need for individuality, another trait, goes both with protagonists and antagonists of different series depending on what perspective is taken. One thing can be said from both perspectives however, and that is that Aries is anti-establishment, both to societies that are somewhat utopia like in nature, leading to the villain archetype, and to societies that are completely corrupt, leading to the protagonist archetype. Aries is certainly a double sided stereotype, both being extremely harmful. It could paint someone as either a rebel that the leaders wants to put down, or as someone who the people want to put down out of anger.
