"I'm gonna head over to the beach," Saoirse hollered out, already on her way.
"Don't forget the Laminaria!" Azalea hollered back.
Saoirse snickered. He can just use the word kelp.
"There isn't a need to use such big words, Az!" said Saoirse, already sprinting towards the waves.
She loved her brother dearly and loved it when they would walk down to the beach together, looking
for pretty seashells to make a necklace with, or baby hermit crabs which would always get stuck in
Saoirse's pretty long hair. Those were good times, but Azalea was always so busy with his medic job these days.
Saoirse now often went to the beach by herself, playing with the crystal clear waves and fluffy sea foam.
But not only did she play with the waves, but the waves played with her. Once after a visit to the beach, she
came home with rare pink conch pearls embellishing her hair, and in another time, she came running home with a
handful of beautiful emerald cat-eye shells. When asked where they had come from, Saoirse responded with,
"I didn't find them. The ocean did." It wasn't unusual for Saoirse to receive such special gifts from the ocean.
Ever since she was a child, she had a special connection with the ocean that no one understood. Not to mention her
wavy, sea foam-green coat and seastar-shaped shine.
It was as if she was born to be with the ocean.
