How did they get separated:
Rustling could be heard, a shadow moving through the night in hurry. Small rodents could be seen running to find somewhere to hide, they didn't have to worry though. It wasn't them the shadow was after, not today. The shadow suddenly stopped two eyes shining through the bushes. Small mewels could be heard from it's direction. "Please be quiet" The shadow thought, the shadow, a new mother was carrying two kittens in her jaw. Only a few hours old, but the cat had no choise. It had to be done to save her and her mate. A secret, only the two of them knew.
The cat sniffed the air, she could scent other cats. She was close to their borders now. A sigh of relief escaped her, but deep down she knew she would look back at this day with sorrow. She had traveled far to get here, there was no turning back, they had agreed, she and her mate. The cat snook closer only soft padding and kits mewing breaking the silence of the forest. She had made sure to travel late so that she wouldn't get caught by any patrols. She knew this was a dangerous time to travel and they might not survive but she wouldn't give up. Her kits deserved a life within a clan.

Upon arriving at the border she realised there were two clans here. The new mother seeked out a safe spot by the borders where she could set the kits down from harms way of any predators. She found a suitable spot carefully setting down the tiny kits. "This is the best for you two, a medecine cat could never care for you the way you should be treated" The she-cat meowed giving each kit a loving lick on their forehead. The cat had brought two flowers with her, she set one down by each kit. "Daisykit, Pansykit, may starclan bless you" The cat whispered looking up at starpelt before giving her kits a last look running away tears leaving the mothers eyes.

The sun rising faded away the darkness little by little. The now hungry kits mewed trying to call for their mother. She would of course not return. The kits stopped their cries once they heard footsteps getting closer. "Look, over there" a voice could be heard from within the forest. One of the kits jumped at the strange sound crawling deeper into the nest. Soon a whole group of cats gathered by the two abandoned kits. "A-a kit? What is it doing here all by itself?" After moments of murmuring to eachother one of the cats picked up the kit gently. "We will bring you back to camp, you are safe now" The warrior meowed before the group dissapeared. The now lonley kit started to mew in distress, not only was she hungry, her only safety had just been stolen. Another group of cats found the kit and brought it back with them. They were separated, but not forever. [500/500]
